A Giant Surprise from Green Giant: Veggie Chips!

Don’t you love surprises? Green Giant recently unveiled a very GIANT surprise!  The company known for their fresh, frozen, and canned vegetables, has just unveiled a line of Veggie Snack Chips.  Made with whole grain and real vegetables these are chips that any snacker can feel good about eating.  And they come in two amazing varieties: 

  • The Green Giant™ Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips – Zesty Cheddar Flavor are made with real vegetables, 17 grams of whole grain per serving (48g are recommended daily), and are naturally flavored.
  • The Green Giant™ Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips – Sea Salt Flavor are made with real sweet potatoes and made with 14 grams of whole grain. Plus, they contains 40 percent less fat than regular potato chips.

 

 

Green Giant Veggie Chips

I’m a big of Green Giant and their products, and I was really excited to try these new chips!  I received samples of both flavors, and I instantly fell in love!  I’ve actually never eaten sweet potatoes, let alone Sweet Potato Chips, but I instantly became a fan of the the Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips.

And then I especially love the Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips.  I love cheese flavored snacks any way, and these Zesty Cheddar Flavored chips are so delicious!

The chips also have a great crunch and consistency.  I loved them so much, I could hardly put down the bag!  They are perfect for snacking at home or in the office, and they’d also be perfect for parties and showers.  And I think everyone in the family from young to old will love them!

The Gift of Whirley Pop

Whirley Pop

If you are looking for a last minute gift idea for the home cook who has everything, consider giving them a Whirley Pop popcorn popper.   Everyone loves popcorn, right?  And they will especially love some freshly popped popcorn for movie nights.  With the Whirley Pop popcorn popper, movie nights are even more fun!

The Whirley Pop  is a hand-cranked stove top popcorn popping.  And it is also fast and easy to use:

1. First time use: Season the Pan
2. Once you are ready to pop, add 1/2 Cup Popping Corn and 1-3 T Popping Oil into the Whirley Pop
3. Place Whirley Pop on burner and set heat to Medium – Medium High
4. Hold the wooden handle with one hand, and slowly turn the crank with the other. Continue stirring for about 3 minutes or until you only hear an occasional pop or the crank becomes difficult to turn.
