Poise Impressa Bladder Supports and a Coupon

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Poise. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you ever experienced bladder leakage? Believe it or not, it is a very common problem, with 1 in 3 women experience it (That’s 35 million women!) and 1 in 5 experiencing stress urinary incontinence.  This is a urine leak that occurs when you do things like laugh, cough, sneeze, dance, and exercise.

As you know, I always love to talk about simple solutions, and today we have a simple solution that anyone with light bladder leakage and stress urinary incontinence will be thrilled to heart about.

The folks at Poise specialize in products to help with the problem.  You’ve probably seen their liners before, but they also have a new product: Poise Impressa Bladder Supports.

This is the first and only over-the-counter internal product that is designed to help stop leaks before they happen.  The product is inserted like a tampon, but rather than absorb leaks, it actually stops them by gently lifting and supporting the uretha.

It is both comfortable and effective, and it is also safe to use.  And the product can be used for up to 8 hours, leaving you free to enjoy your day!

Poise Impressa Bladder Supports are available in three sizes.  Before purchasing the product, you should try out the sizing kit to see which of the three sizes is most comfortable and most effective for you.

Check out this video for more information about the benefits of this product:

Please remember to use this product as directed, and please see your doctor to discuss long term solutions to stress urinary incontinence and other health issues.  You should also note that the product is not for anyone under age 21, and is not to be used by anyone who’s pregnant or has experienced unusual vaginal bleeding or discharge, pain during urination, or anyone who’s had vaginal surgery in the last three months.

DIY Oil Change with Pennzoil

Are you a DIYer? Do you hate to call a repair man?  Around our house,  my husband is Mr. Fix It, and he’s very good at everything he does.  If anything needs to be built or fixed, I almost always rely on him to do it!

Last week we tackled a DIY oil change.  As you probably know, regular oil changes are a very important part of vehicle maintenance.  Getting your oil changed ever 3 months or every 3000 miles helps to ensure optimal vehicle performance, extended engine life, and better gas mileage.

But what are the benefits of a DIY oil change versus an oil change you’d get from an auto mechanic?  For one thing, by doing it yourself, you can see exactly how much oil is going in your car.  This will allow you to use just as much oil as you need and prevent you from overpaying for oil that is not used. Pork Potato Casserole Served

A couple of weeks ago I shared a delicious recipe for Pulled Pork Nachos.  Pulled pork is an absolute Southern staple and one of my favorite foods!  I love ordering it from local barbecue places, and I also love making it at home!

The only problem with making it at home is that it takes several hours to cook, which means I always have to plan ahead and be prepared to spend a day or an evening watching over the meat as it cooks.  It’s definitely well worth the time and effort, but I don’t always have time to do this!  And when I’ve been busy working all day and it’s time to pick up Noah from school, I definitely don’t have the time to cook a whole pork roast in time for dinner….until now!  Enter Farm Rich® Smokehouse Pulled Pork BBQ!

This pulled pork is just as delicious as anything you can make at home or get from a bbq stand, and it cooks up in the microwave in minutes!  Today I’m going to show you how I paired this delicious pulled pork with some Birds Eye Steamfresh® Flavor Full Sour Cream and Onion Potatoes to make a delicious and easy weeknight meal!

Walmart Family Mobile Phones

Is your family ready for back to school?  My stepson started his sophomore year on Wednesday.  As we get ready to send him off to school and after school activities, I can’t help but think about how things have changed since I was in school.  Way back in the late 90s very few high school kids had cell phones, and just getting to borrow your parent’s cell phone on a Friday night could make you the envy of all your friends!

Nowadays everything has changed!  Not only is it automatically assumed that you, the parents, have cell phones, but most of the kids have had their own cell phones since junior high. [Read more…]

School is almost back is session!  Already?  Yes!  As I sit at my computer, our son is actually standing out in the heat at marching band camp, and he’ll be starting school in just 2 weeks!  For me, that means it is time to stock up on plenty of back to school groceries and come up with some easy meal ideas.  The other day I talked about a few of my go-to breakfast options, and today we’re talking dinners!  Since Noah has brand practice right after school, this means I need meal ideas I can whip up rather quickly after he gets home from band practice. lowest priced unlimited plans

With the holidays just around the corner, everyone is looking for ways to save money on gifts as well as other household expenses.   Earlier this year we made the decision to abandon our “contract cell phones” which were costing us $150 a month, and  we started looking for pre-paid or post-pay, no-contract phones.  We did a lot of research, and Walmart Family Mobile was the winner with the lowest priced unlimited plans I’ve seen. Caramel Apple Waffles with Aunt Jemima

Aunt Jemima Waffles

There’s nothing like hot waffles for breakfast… that soft, chewy confection with the crispy, crunchy edges drenched in butter and syrup, has always been a classic favorite of mine.  And Aunt Jemima makes it so easy a kid can do it.

Making Breakfast

This weekend Noah was making home made waffle in kitchen with just the push of a button.  Now that’s convenient!

These days, however, the waffle has branched out.  If you stroll the internet, you’ll find waffles topped with fruit, cream cheese, peanut butter, and even chocolate!  Waffles also make a great bread substitute for your bacon, egg, & cheese sandwich, breakfast casserole recipes, and more!  Recently I bought some Aunt Jemima Homestyle Waffles, and they inspired me to think outside the box (literally)  and recipe especially for this fall season.
