Hi everyone! Welcome to this week’s linky party.  It’s so great to see all the back to school and fall content that everyone is starting to put out!  This week I’m featuring a few apple recipes.  I think of apple as the fruit of the fall season, so I’m sure you will see more apple stuff here in the coming months.  Wink!

We are definitely home bodies.  My husband would rather stay home on the weekends that go out any day, and I generally feel the same way.  A trip to Walmart is like an adventure for me!  But I’m even happier just staying home when I’ve got great food (and especially desserts) to eat!

Although I enjoy a trip to the Ice Cream Parlor or Cupcake Shop just as much as the next girl (okay….honestly I probably enjoy it MORE than most children..) I have to say there is nothing like homemade ice cream to make your summer days fun, cool, and sweet!

To a lot of people, homemade ice cream means sitting around, turning a crank, listening to a much of noise, and generally a lot of trouble, not to mention the cost of the ice cream freezer (if you don’t already have one) which can be $50 and even $100.  BUT today I’m showing you how to enjoy a little homemade ice cream treat without all that hassle!

School is starting here this week, and with the start of a new school year, after school snacks are a MUST!
