One of the latest products on the market for “cat parents” is lightweight litter. It is an idea that is long overdue. As a cat mommy, I like to get the best deal possible on litter, and that usually comes from buying the bigger packages, but it can be murder on your back, so I usually have to choose savings or convenience. Shark Rocket Review and Giveaway

Today we continue our series of cleaning products and tips for the fall season. If you struggle to keep your floors clean and are always looking for the latest and greatest invention to help out, look no further! Today I’m sharing my new Shark Rocket Ultralight Upright! I am very excited to add this to my arsenal of cleaning products, and I’m sure you would love it too.

Prior to getting the Shark Rocket, I had a full size canister vacuum as well as a stick vac AND a hand vac. Let’s talk about these first:

-My full size canister vac did a good job of cleaning up everyday messes, but it was such a pain to drag out! It also didn’t pick up everything, and the attachments were kind of a pain in the neck, more than a help.

-I had actually stopped using my full size vacuum entirely, and I mostly used my stick vac, because it is lightweight. But it lacked powerful suction and had no attachments.

-And as for my hand vac, well, I bought it and used it maybe three times. It was a total waste of money!

Fall Cleaning and Sharing the Swiffer Effect

I’ve got working on a lot of interesting fall projects, including a Fall Cleaning Series, which I’m happy to kick off today with a little help from Swiffer!

I’ve always loved Swiffer products. We live in a multi-surface floor home, and the variety of Swiffer products available come in handy when it is time to clean house. If you’ve never used Swiffer, I’m sure you are at least familiar with the products featured in their “green box” commercials. I was very excited recently when I received my own Swiffer Green Box! We are definitely home bodies. My husband would rather stay home on the weekends that go out any day, and I generally feel the same way. A trip to Walmart is like an adventure for me! But I’m even happier just staying home when I’ve got great food (and especially desserts) to eat!

Although I enjoy a trip to the Ice Cream Parlor or Cupcake Shop just as much as the next girl (okay….honestly I probably enjoy it MORE than most children..) I have to say there is nothing like homemade ice cream to make your summer days fun, cool, and sweet!

To a lot of people, homemade ice cream means sitting around, turning a crank, listening to a much of noise, and generally a lot of trouble, not to mention the cost of the ice cream freezer (if you don’t already have one) which can be $50 and even $100. BUT today I’m showing you how to enjoy a little homemade ice cream treat without all that hassle!

Getting Organized with Spicy Shelf – Review & Giveaway

I like to stay organized as much as possible. I like to be able to open up a cabinet or drawer and see everything that is inside and have everything easily accessible.
