Hersheys Halloween Scarecrow Pudding Cups

Fall is such a fun time!  Each year I look forward to seeing all the fun decor in stores and online, and I love breaking out my own decorations!  Fall also brings a lot of great opportunity to make great snacks and treats, from football food to Halloween goodies!  Today I’m excited to share a fun tutorial on how to make Scarecrow Pudding Cups using Hershey’s Ready to Eat Pudding.

These pudding cups are a great treat that you can make and serve at your child’s Halloween party or other fall events.  And it is also a great activity that moms can do with kids, or elementary teachers can do with their students.  Just give everyone a pudding cup and a plate of ingredients, and then let them go crazy! Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Waffles

Chocolate Chip Waffles with Cookie Dough Frosting

A few weeks ago I made Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcakes for Noah’s birthday.  The first time I made them was last year (also for his birthday).  At the time, I wasn’t sure if he’d like them or not.  (I don’t know what I was thinking….it’s cookie dough flavored frosting! How could he not like them?)  But just in case, I decided to only use the cookie dough frosting on half of the cupcakes.  For the other half, I used a milk chocolate frosting.

The good news is that this left me with half a bowl of delicious frosting to play with!  One thing I decided to do with the leftover was add them to a stack of waffles! [Read more…]

Building Muscle with EAS

The fall season is almost upon us, but that doesn’t mean we have to let our summer health and fitness routines fall by the wayside.  Didn’t have a summer health and fitness routine?  Well, in that case, the fall season is a great time to start one!

My husband and I are both at a good weight and are in fairly good health.  In my case,  I’m in my early 30s (and holding).  I’ve still got a lot of energy, and I’m fairly strong for my tiny size, if I do say so myself!  But I’m the Skinny Minnie who wants to be Mighty Mouse! Haha!  My husband and I are always working on DIY projects, and I hate it when we get to the parts where I can’t help!

As for my husband, he’s getting ready to turn the big 4-0.  He was actually very sick a few months ago.  And although, he’s mostly recovered, he lost a lot of his muscle strength, and he also struggles with neuropathy, which sometimes keeps him down. He’s always been an active person, and he loves working and fixing things, so I definitely want him to get back in shape, so he can do activities he loves!

Regardless of your age, size, fitness level, and situation, I believe the right supplements and fitness products are a MUST if you really want to get serious about your health and/or fitness levels!  With 42 grams of protein and 24 vitamins and minerals, EAS Myoplex Ready to Drink Shakes are a great choice to help you build muscle and strength. School is almost back is session!  Already?  Yes!  As I sit at my computer, our son is actually standing out in the heat at marching band camp, and he’ll be starting school in just 2 weeks!  For me, that means it is time to stock up on plenty of back to school groceries and come up with some easy meal ideas.  The other day I talked about a few of my go-to breakfast options, and today we’re talking dinners!  Since Noah has brand practice right after school, this means I need meal ideas I can whip up rather quickly after he gets home from band practice. Easy cooking with Tyson and Birds Eye

“I’m hungry!”  This phrase is uttered so many times a day in my house by everyone, including me!  I thought that I’d have more time for cooking with school out, but boy, was I wrong!  The last few weeks I’ve been dealing with a pretty big work load, and on top of this, we’ve been doing improvements around the house: painting, de-cluttering and organizing, rearranging furniture. Ah!

By the time I get done with everything else I have to do, the last thing I want to do is cook.  And yet, “I’m hungry!” continues to echo through the hall (and in my own mind and stomach).

Ordering out is an option, but we can’t do that every day, so having easy and convenient food options is a MUST.  For that, I often go to the freezer! [Read more…]
