Dial Deep Cleansing Hand Soap Review
Hand soap is a MUST have item for any household. And I also like to have something that not only cleanses, but also smells great and leaves your hands smelling great. When I was growing up, Dial soap was almost always what we had in our bathroom. I’ve always known them mostly for their gold and white bars, and we also used Dial Hand Soap in the gold/original variety, but now they have a variety of other products, including a new line of the hand soap. The Waterpik #NewAgeInWaterFlossing #Ad
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Waterpik.

Every time you go to the dentist, you are reminded to floss, but often the simple task goes undone. Why? Many people say they forget; others say it takes too much time, and for others it is simply a pain in the neck (and teeth). If you fall in to any of these categories, you should try a Waterpik Aquarius Professional Water Flosser. This machine is the easy and more effective way to floss.
I had a braces for 2 years and afterward I had to deal with a lot of other dental issues and dental work. I’ve had to have fillings, root canals, and crowns, and a lot of the problems I’ve had and still experience today, stem from a lack of flossing. I had heard of Waterpiks before, and I wish I’d had one years ago. Needless to say, when I recently had a chance to try the product, I was very happy to do so.
The Waterpik water flosser has a very compact, yet sleek design and is very user-friendly. You simply fill your unit with water. Put your desired attachment in place. Plug in, turn it on, and get to flossing! With the push of a button the machine goes from massage to pulse mode, and with the turn of a dial you can change the intensity and strength of the water steam. From there, you just remove the hand-held flosser from the holder and use as directed.
I love the machine for its ease of use, but I also love it because it comes with a number of attachments. There’s the traditional water squirter attachment, toothbrush attachment, tongue cleaner attachment, and tools for specific tasks like cleaning braces fillings, crowns, bridges, gums, and more.
As someone who’s had a number of fillings and crowns, as well as a couple of fillings which have actually come loose due to traditional flosser, I really love the alternative of the Waterpik and it’s attachments.
The Waterpik is also clinically proven to improve gum health more than string flossing.
Buy it! Visit the Waterpik website to order yours.

Accent Cleansing Wash & Lotion Review
As you gear up for the winter with new sweaters, coats, scarves, and gloves, don’t forget to protect your skin with the proper cleansing and lotion products!
Your skin has a big job to do. It’s your largest organ, covering your entire body, and it’s responsible for keeping a protective barrier between you and the outside world, as well as keeping a vital moisture balance inside your body.
Lots of things can weaken this protective barrier, like drying cleansers, winter weather, low humidity and some skin conditions. Once that happens, you may have more dryness, itching, redness, flaking, and eventually painful cracking of your skin. At best, this process can lead to a rough, red, unpleasant skin texture. At worst, severely damaged and inflamed skin can get out of control and provide a portal for bacteria.
What makes accént® products different is Protease Technology, a unique blend of plant-based enzymes, combined with amino acids and advanced moisturizers, to help hydrate and nourish dry, flaky skin and promote soft, smooth, healthy-looking skin.1-5
accént® products are also mild and gentle enough to be used as often as desired anywhere on the face as well as the body. They are paraben-free, propylene glycol-free, gluten-free, non-irritating, non-drying and non-comedogenic (will not block pores). With only one wash and one moisturizing lotion for daily use, accént® is a cleansing and moisturizing system that couldn’t be simpler.
You can find accént® products at your local CVS/Pharmacy and at Drugstore.com.
Disclosure: I received product samples for review purposes; however, the opinions are my own.
OPEN UP with Sudafed
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Sudafed.
The fall is my favorite season. It’s such a fun and festive time, and I also enjoy the weather, the fashion, and the decor, but the fall and winter seasons can be the worst when it comes to sinus pain and pressure! There’s the coughing, the stuffy and runny nose, sneezing, and headache pain.
Do you suffer from allergies or frequent colds? What is your most bothersome symptom?
For me personally, the thing I hate worse about cold and allergy season is getting a stuffy nose. It is so terrible not being able to breathe and constantly needing a tissue, and it is even worse at bed time when you are trying to sleep and cannot breathe. I try to use medicine such as Sudafed, and I prop myself up with pillows and try to breathe through my mouth, but it can still be very bothersome.
And the other thing I hate is the headaches that can accompany sinus pressure. I already suffer from frequent migraines, and so sinus pressure can easily bring on a pounding headache for me, which makes it even more difficult to sleep or get any work done during the day.
Check out the infographic below to see what sinus sufferers had to say about their sinus troubles.

Sudafed cares about allergy and cold sufferers and wants to know what you think. Sudafed invites you to join the discussion about Sinus Pressure and Pain on their Facebook Page. How does sinus trouble make you feel? How do you find relief? Go over and like their page to share your thoughts and find out what others are saying.
While I was there I found a few useful tips such as taking a hot shower, placing a hot towel on your head, and keeping a humidifier in your room.
While you are there you can also “open up” about how sinus pain and pressure makes you feel with Sudafed’s OPEN UP™ App. Using the app, you can create a picture of how colds and allergies make you feel, and then you will get a money saving coupon for Sudafed!
Here’s a screen shot of the picture I created:
Check out your local retailers for Sudafed products for children and adults and “open up” your sinuses this fall.
Sudafed knows that suffering from sinus pressure and pain can leave individuals feeling crushed, beat down, congested and even squeezed, desperately looking for a way to OPEN UP. Serious sinus sufferers are invited to creatively share how their sinus pain and pressure looks and feels to them by using Sudafed’s OPEN UP™ application on Facebook.
Then, beginning on December 2, the Sudafed Facebook community will vote for one of five finalist sketches that best illustrates the pains of sinus pressure. The winner will receive $5,000 and a chance to have their work included in a Sudafed advertising campaign. For more information, visit the Sudafed Facebook page.

Kleenex – An Allergy Season Must Have + 12 Allergy Season Tips
This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Kleenex but all my opinions are my own. #KleenexAllergy #pmedia http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.
If your family is like mine, since the start of October you’ve been hearing a lot of the following sounds: “Sneeze. Sneeze. Cough. Sniffle. Sniffle.” This means allergy season is in full swing! The weather here has just started to cool down and change in the last couple of weeks, and since then we’ve been starting to experience seasonal allergy and cold symptoms. I try to avoid the cool weather all together to keep myself well, but when you have men working outside and kids doing outdoor activities, not mention all the outdoor fall events going on, it doesn’t exactly help to combat the problem.
For this reason, I like to have plenty of Kleenex on hand. Their products are a great value, coming in 2-ply and 3-ply sheets, and they are very soft to the touch. Kleenex also has very stylish packaging if you’re looking for something to blend in with your home decor.
I recently made a trip to Target to stock up on Kleenex products. They have individual boxes as well as multiple pack boxes so that you can have a box for every room or just stock up for the winter, and they also have pocket packs, which are perfect for when your on-the-go.
Place these in your pocket, purse, suit case, back pack, glove box, or office drawer so you can fight allergies no matter where you are!
Today I’m sharing a few tips on how you can help your family to fight allergy season this year.
1. Keep bedding and carpets cleaned regularly.
2. Keep air filters changed out every 6 weeks (or even more often if you have pets or other potential allergens).
3. Take over-the-counter antihistamines.
4. Drink plenty of fluids, including water and juices that are high in vitamin C.
5. Drink hot chicken broth or eat chicken soup.
6. Drink herbal teas such as ginger tea, peppermint tea, green tea, chamomile, or tea with honey.
7. Irrigate the nasal passages with a neti pot or other saline product.
8. Take an NSAID or other pain relief product for headaches associated with allergies and sinus pressure.
9. Take hot showers or a hot bath, or drape a towel over your head and sit over a bowl of hot boiling water or a vaporizer.
10. Brush and bathe pets regularly and clean litter box to limit pet allergens.
11. Take multivitamins and other anti-allergy supplements, recommended by your doctor.
12. Avoid smoke, fumes, air pollution, and other things that cause your allergies to flare up.
Special Offer from Kleenex and Target! Visit your local Target and get a FREE Kleenex pocket pack with the purchase of a 4 or 6 pack of Kleenex facial tissue with this coupon while supplies last!
Bedtime with Arm & Hammer and a $100 Visa Giveaway
It’s time for part 2 of our post series brought to you by Arm & Hammer. This month’s theme is Bedtime with Arm & Hammer. Members of the Arm & Hammer Influencer Network received a great little package (pictured above) with products to help me get ready for bedtime. Included in my package were two products from Arm & Hammer: the Spinbrush ProClean Sonic and a tube of Sensitive Toothpaste from the makers of Orajel.
As someone who’s had her fair share of dental problems, I was really excited to try out the Spinbrush. The Spinbrush ProClean Sonic is clinically proven to remove up to 95% of plaque in hard-to-reach places, and its dynamic fluid action cleans in between teeth. It also has bristles that fade over time, so you know when to change it out, and they have replaceable heads, so you do not have to buy a whole new unit every time. Plus, the Spinbrush comes with a free refill head, saving you even more money and time before you have to buy replacements!
I was also happy to try Arm & Hammer Sensitive from the makers of Orajel. I have the occasional tooth sensitivity and pain, so I like using toothpastes that are especially for sensitivity. Arm & Hammer Sensitive is great for this, taking care of tooth and nerve sensitivity. It is a maximum strength product with flouride for anticavity protection, and baking soda for whitening. Since it’s made with baking soda, it does have a bit of baking soda aftertaste, but it is not too overwhelming, and it also has mint flavors that covers up some of the baking soda taste.
All in all, I was happy with both of these products and would definitely recommend them to you and your family.
For information on Arm & Hammer’s products, tips and hints, FAQs, and consumer reviews, visit the Arm & Hammer Website and their Facebook page.
Also, find out where to buy Arm & Hammer products and sign up for the Arm & Hammer Savings Center for coupons and more!
Giveaway! One Simply Sweet Home reader will win a prize pack featuring the 2-3 ARM & HAMMER products featured today AND One (1) $100 Visa Gift Card for purchasing more ARM & HAMMER products.

The Cottonelle Care Routine #Letstalkbums #Ad
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cottonelle.
Bathroom habits aren’t usually a topic we discuss here at Simply Sweet Home, but Cottonelle is partnering up with journalist Cherry Healy to encourage everyone to talk about their bathroom routines and their bums, and today I’m joining the conversation. You can also join the conversation by checking out the Cottonelle Facebook page.
The Cottonelle Care Routine revolves around two products: Cottonelle FreshCare Flushable Cleansing Cloths and Cottonelle Ultra ComfortCare Tissue.
Have you ever used wipes? If you have not, then the idea of using these may seem a little odd at first, but after you get used to the idea, the use of the product becomes second nature, just like using a moist towelette to clean your hands. And come to think of it, if you use baby wipes for your baby’s bottom, why stop when they are out of diapers? We should all be able to feel fresh and clean.
The Cottonelle wipes are really great! They have a nice, clean scent. They are thick and strong but also have a soft texture, and they really leave you feeling refreshed and very clean. Cottonelle has also made recent improvements to the product packaging for their wipes. Unlike other wipes that come in a container similar to baby wipes, their new containers are more like a canister, which blends in better with the bathroom decor. And because the new product packaging allows for the wipes to pulled out of the top so that air doesn’t get to them, they won’t dry out. So that means no waste!
You will also love Cottonelle toilet paper. It has a great texture, and is strong and thick, so you don’t have to use a lot. Again, no waste!
Go to your local grocery store and other retailers to find Cottonelle flushable wipes and toilet paper, so you can get that extra clean and fresh feeling every day!
Cottonelle wants to get you talking about your bum and on a better way to clean “down there” by using the Cottonelle Clean Routine. By combining the use of Cottonelle Toilet Paper and Cottonelle Flushable Cleansing Cloths, the Cottonelle Clean Routine is a revolutionary way to keep your bum cleaner.
Are you ready? Don’t be shy! Visit http://www.facebook.com/cottonelle to learn more about the Cottonelle Clean Routine and join the clean routine conversation.
