4 Common Types of Cosmetic Surgery

People today seek to improve their image in various ways. It can be improving a lifestyle or changing what to eat. A traditional way to enhance once appearance is with the help of experts in the field of St. Louis Cosmetic Surgery.

Aside from having natural ways to beautify, it is always a doctor’s prescription to match beauty with a balanced outlook in life. Loving who you are, means paying attention to your physical flaws. Mostly if they affect your health.

Cosmetic Vs. Plastic Surgery

Cosmetic surgery is different from plastic surgery. Although the procedures target the same body parts, results are safer after. Cosmetic surgery procedures are one of the good alternatives.

Also, what you need to pay closer attention to is the use of the terms. Some plastic surgery practitioner will alter your option by presenting cosmetic plastic surgery. This is not a safe alternative. It all boils down to the process one will undergo.

Have a more in-depth basic knowledge of natural body contouring methods and their processes. Here discussed are the types of cosmetic surgeries.

1- Fat Transfer Breast Augmentation  While some would choose to opt for a more conventional tear drop breast augmentation procedure, a safer boob job is through fat transfer and excess skin removal. This procedure helps a woman who needs to either reduce or increase breast size.

A safer boob job is through fat transfer and excess skin removal. This procedure helps a woman who needs to either reduce or increase breast size.

Removing excess skin from the boob is also called mastopexy. This results in lifting the boob to prevent sogging. Those who came from breastfeeding suffers from the sogging boob. Some who need reduction are women who want proportionate breast size to height or weight. Thus, they need breast augmentation.

Breast implant or mammoplasty uses fat to add to the breast size. This uses the natural part of the body and does not need fake boobs to be implanted. Usually, the fat is taken are the butt or thigh, or sometimes upper arms.

Breast implants such as silicone or saline cause harmful effects. The fake boob can burst and leak saltwater compounds in your breast area. This is why others prefer this to a silicone implant.

Silicone, however, had caused a lot of concerns when side effects also harmed the patients. These are plastic surgeries that use “plastic” products to add more volume to the breast.

2- Liposuction, the Refined Method

Liposuction, this term is popular to all. Hearing that gives you goosebumps. Traditional lipo had been damaging and traumatic to others.

Now, have you heard of Jet Water Lipo, Vaser Lipo, or Cool Lipo? These are a refined alternative to the old-school liposuction. These methods departed from the tissue-damaging process and tools.

Take a deeper look at how Vaser Lipo is done. This lipo procedure is aided by ultrasound technology. A cannula rod is inserted in the target area.

The ultrasound vibrations will melt the fat. The rod is connected to a vacuum device, and it then sucks out the emulsified fat.

3- Butt Lift with Fat Transfer

Just like breast lift, butt augmentation can be safer now using fat transfer. A rounder buttock helps those who need more support in their bottom area. Sitting can be more comfortable. Flat butt sometimes contributes to back pain for some. Or sitting is painful when the butt is flat.

Another way around butt augmentation is reducing size. This one aids the process of fat transfer to another part as the breast. It makes the process efficient, as well. So, if you’re going to achieve perfect body proportion, you can increase the boob size and slim down the butt.

4- Face Lift

There is a natural way to remove wrinkles, sagging facial skin, or discoloration on the face. Traditionally, plastic surgery is a typical process for changing facial features. Today a safer procedure is through fat transfer to make pronounce facial outlines.

Fat transfer for facial contouring also helps those who want to have fuller lips, cheeks, or chin.

Being beautiful takes effort and sometimes facing your fears. But it does not have to put your health and safety at stake. Do research first and look for natural cosmetic surgeries the certified practitioners recommend.

The Beginners Guide To Coloring Your Own Hair At Home

A lot of people are scared about dyeing their own hair at home, which is understandable because you can’t really afford to make mistakes. But hair dye kits are great and the results will look amazing as long as you get it right. However, there are a lot of products to choose from and it’s important that you know the proper technique before you get started, so it can be quite daunting. The thing is, you can save a lot of time and money by coloring your own hair at home, so you should definitely give it a go.

If you have always wanted to color your own hair but you are still a bit apprehensive about it, this beginners guide will tell you everything that you need to know.

Choosing The Right Color

The first step is to choose the color, which can be tough because there are so many products available these days. If this is your first time dyeing your hair, it’s best to go for a shade that is similar to your own instead of making a big change. For example, if you are a natural blonde, why not look for some dark blonde hair inspiration online? If you have light brown hair, you could consider a darker shade or maybe add some blonde highlights. It’s important that you don’t get too ambitious because there is a lot more potential for mistakes when making a drastic change. You are also more likely to damage your hair if you bleach it and then apply a new color on top, so start out with a small change first and then you can get more ambitious as you get more comfortable with the process.

When you look at dyes on the shelf, they are usually organized in color order. Hold up the box to your hair and try to find the shade that most closely matches your natural hair color. Then, you can start looking at dyes in that section so you don’t stray too far from your color. Ideally, you want to choose from the next two shades either side of your natural color.

Even if you have relatively short hair, it’s worth picking up two boxes of dye. You don’t want to run out halfway through and if you don’t use the second box, you have one ready for next time. If you decide that you don’t like the color, you can just return it and get a different shade.

Don’t Mix Colors

If you can’t quite find what you’re looking for, you might decide that it’s a good idea to mix two different shades together to create the perfect color. But it isn’t a good idea, ever. Dyes are not designed to be mixed and the end result will not turn out how you think it will. Even when you are using a single color, the result may look slightly different from the box, depending on your natural color. Mixing two dyes from different brands is even riskier because they will contain different ingredients that may react badly when mixed together. If you want a custom shade, you will have to go to a professional stylist

Don’t Skip The Patch and Strand Tests

Any hair dye that you buy will instruct you to conduct a patch test and a strand test. You might be excited to get started and decide that you don’t need to bother, but this is never a good idea. The patch test is designed to make sure that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients in the dye. Simply take a small amount of the dye and put it on a patch of skin behind your ear. Leave it overnight and see whether anything happens. If you don’t do this and you apply the dye all over your hair, only to realize that you are allergic to it, you will find yourself in a lot of pain and it can seriously damage your hair.

The strand test is there to make sure that your hair doesn’t react badly to the dye and you actually like the color. Remember, it won’t always come out exactly the same as it looks on the box, so you should always do a strand test on a piece of short hair. If you skip this test, you could end up with a completely different shade that you hate, and there isn’t much that you can do about it apart from dyeing your hair again, which can cause damage.

Protect Your Skin

No matter how careful you are when applying hair dye, you are always going to get some on your skin. Usually, people end up with spots around their hairline on the back of their neck and they’re very tough to get off, especially if you are using a dark color. The good news is, you can easily protect yourself with a simple lip balm or some vaseline rubbed around the hairline before you get started. You should also apply it around your forehead and around the ears because these areas are likely to get covered in dye as well.

Read The Instructions In Full

Dyeing your hair might not seem that complicated but there’s more to it than simply slapping the dye all over your hair and working it in. You need to know how long to leave it in for to get the perfect color and how to wash it out properly. Every dye is slightly different, which is why you should always read the instructions in full before you get started. In the instructions, you will find a list of all of the tools that you need, like a bowl, brush and gloves. Get all of these items together before you start applying any dye so you don’t end up trying to find things halfway through. Closely follow instructions about washing the dye out because leaving it in for too long can cause damage to your hair and scalp.

Dye On Dry Hair

Now that you have read the instructions in full and gathered all of your tools, it’s time to get started. For the best results, you should always apply dye to dry hair. Although it is possible to dye wet hair, it may not take to your hair properly and it can become diluted, which means that the color won’t come out right.

When you apply dye, take it slow and steady. Squeezing the bottle directly onto your hair and spreading it out is not the way to go if you want even coloring throughout. Instead, you need a bowl and a brush so you can apply it precisely and ensure that you get enough dye throughout. You should always start with the roots because this is where hair growth begins, so they need more dye. Then, start working through the hair in sections, using clips to separate hair to make it easier to get full coverage.

Get The Aftercare Right

Once you have applied the dye, waited the correct amount of time, and washed it out, you can enjoy your new color. But if you want it to last and you want your hair to be healthy, it’s vital that you get the aftercare right.

When your hair gets wet, it starts to strip the dye out. There is no way to prevent this completely, but you can make the dye last a lot longer if you use a color safe shampoo. They are specifically designed to be kind to colored hair and stop the color from stripping out as quickly when you wash your hair.

You can also use a color boosting gloss that deposits a small amount of pigment in your hair and boosts the color, helping it to last a lot longer. They come in various shades, so find the one that most closely matches your color and use it around once a week.

Moisturizing your hair properly is very important as well because hair dye can cause it to dry out and become brittle. You can use a good quality conditioner for this but there are some great natural remedies, like honey, which work wonders on your hair as well. Your hair is more prone to damage when you color it, so make sure that you have a good haircare routine in place to protect it.

Sun damage is a big problem for people with colored hair as well. Exposure to the sun works in much the same ways as bleach does and it will lighten your hair over time. Your hair won’t look great if it starts to fade due to sun damage so you need to protect it. The easiest way to do that is to simply wear a hat when you are out in the sun for long periods.

Coloring your own hair at home is much cheaper and more convenient than visiting a salon, but there is a lot that can go wrong. However, if you follow all of the steps in this guide, you should be able to achieve the perfect color.

Tips for Cleaning Up Excessive Debt

Having excessive debt can cause enormous amounts of stress. Listed below are several tips to help you reduce your debt and end the worry of late or missed payments.

Know the Amount of Money You Owe

In order to clean up debt, you need a starting place. Begin by gathering all of your current bills to identify the amount of money you need to pay out monthly. It’s also important to factor in other monthly expenses such as food, gas, and household supplies. Once you have that figure, deduct it from your total net income. The larger the amount remaining, the more likely you are to clean up your debt quickly.

Sticking to a Budget

Now that you know exactly what you owe to whom, you can use the information to reduce your debt. You enjoy going out with friends to dinner, the theater, and on occasion to the casino to play casino table games. Of course, there are things you may need to cut back on completely to stick to your budget, so it might mean you need to stop eating out or buying new clothes. This isn’t to say you have to stop doing everything you enjoy, but you may need to change the way you do certain things. If you enjoy a night at the casino, consider a way to find new casino bonuses you can cash in on to save yourself some money. Free spins are free, after all, so try to get as much for free as you can. Once your free spins are used up, stop playing and try again next week. If you enjoy eating out, consider inviting your friends round for dinner instead and ask them to bring a side dish each. You can still eat and socialise, but your budget will go significantly further. Without a budget in place, having the money to enjoy your time off becomes more difficult.

A Budget Helps You Now and in the Future

A budget helps you track your money. As a result, you reduce wasteful spending and learn ways to stretch every dollar. You also learn how to develop savings for things like a vacation, a down payment for a home, and your retirement. When you see exactly the amount of debt you have, you can start the process of reducing it.

Adopt New Spending Habits

With a budget in place, you develop good spending habits. Instead of buying on impulse, consider all purchases ahead of time. For example, if you need a new roof, you look up several contractors to see who offers the best price and who has a good service record.

Eliminating Wasteful Spending

Of course, you can only reduce excessive debt if you eliminate wasteful spending. You may have a habit of buying coffee on the way to the office and lunch daily. These two items alone can cost upwards of $250.00 or more each month.

Credit Card Debt

On average, consumers owe over $8,000.00 in credit card debt. Unfortunately, it comes from two, three, or even four credit cards compiled. One card on its own is difficult on a tight budget. However, when you have multiple cards accruing interest, it can take years to pay them off. Paying your credit cards down needs to be a priority. Thankfully, there are several ways to achieve it quickly. One option is to refinance your home and use the money to pay off the cards completely. A second option is to take out a personal loan to consolidate the debt into one lower monthly payment. If you are not able to secure a loan, paying more than one card monthly and continuing until you pay it off will also provide effective results.

Savings

Many people get into trouble with excessive debt due to unforeseen circumstances. The loss of income, a sudden illness, or a major unexpected expense. Regardless of the one that applies, it forces them to draw funds from their checking account to cover expenses. Having an emergency fund with at least 3 months the value of your monthly bills set aside will prevent this scenario from happening.

Separate the Wants and Needs

People often confuse their wants and needs. A need is something essential whereas a want is something you desire. While working towards dissolving your excessive debt, refraining from indulging in wants will allow you to achieve your goal quickly. It’s fine to want things, after all, you work hard and deserve nice things. However, there’s a time and place for everything.

Excessive debt can cause you to stress daily. Taking steps to reduce it will allow you to return to a comfortable, stress-free lifestyle.

6 Things People Open Savings Accounts For

In a world that seems to have gone mad, saving your money has become more important than it ever was before. Of course, the things that people open savings accounts for vary from person to person and family to family.

Regardless of why you’re opening your credit union savings account, it’s important to do it now and keep the money there until you reach your goal. In this blog, you’ll find a few of the things that people commonly open savings accounts to save for. Are you saving for the same thing?

Christmas

From sweet Christmas pajamas for the entire family to the snowman that sits in the front yard, Christmas can be expensive. That’s why many people open a holiday savings account through their bank to ensure they have the money needed when the holiday season rolls around. You simply draw out the money, spend it on presents, decorations, and the like, then start depositing money again after the holiday to work towards the next one.

Vacations

While vacations are on hold at the moment, the time will come when you can travel undeterred again. Now is the perfect time to open a savings account and start tucking the money away for the vacation you’ve always wanted. Whether it’s a trip to Paris or a week at the beach in another state, saving for your next vacation is certainly a worthy cause. Don’t forget to check into discounts as well, and who knows, you might have money left in your savings account after your vacation that can go towards the next one.

Children’s College Education

Anyone who has ever been a parent knows that they’re grown before you can blink an eye. That’s why many parents start a college fund for their little ones as soon as they come into the world. The price of college tuition is sky-high and only going to get higher, so having money socked away to help pay for college is a worthy cause.

Retirement

While saving for your retirement may seem like a no-brainer to some, you’d be surprised at the number of people who leave it to the last minute or don’t save at all. Start your retirement savings account early so that you don’t have to struggle when you’re in your golden age and no longer working, because social security benefits very seldom pay the bills, and have enough left over to live comfortably.

Medical Emergencies

You never know when life is going to throw a medical emergency your way, and even if you have good insurance you’re still going to have to pay the deductible. On top of that, many medical emergencies end up with you being out of work or having bills that you didn’t have before. It’s better to prepare for those emergencies now than to wish you had done so later on down the line.

Unemployment Periods

Anyone who thought that their job was safe was taken down when COVID-19 hit and unemployment statistics went through the roof. It’s important to open a savings account and put money in it for a rainy day. You never know when something is going to happen and you’ll be without an income for a period of time. It’s best to be prepared, don’t you think?

These are just a few of the things that people open savings accounts to save for. Whatever your reason and whatever you choose to save for, you should do it as soon as possible, instead of putting it off. Besides, the more money you have socked away for whatever reason, the better you’ll feel in the long run.

Design Trends Making a Comeback

We all know that trends come and go, particularly in the world of interior design. Last year and this year, in particular, we have seen numerous trends that haven’t been de rigor for years come back into fashion as stylists, manufacturers, editors, and others look increasingly to the past for ideas. Here are some key trends making a comeback that you should keep your eye on today.

Woven Furniture

Woven furniture has had a few periods of popularity before and, after going out of fashion for decades, is back in a big way right now – not just in sunrooms or patios, but throughout homes. Cane, wicker, rattan, and other furniture has resurfaced in a contemporary way that’s showcased in everything from woven dining room and reading chairs to intricate bed frames, bedside tables, benches, shelving units, and more.

The trend helps you to add a soft, natural element to your interior design. It’s especially used in a modern, boho way now when mixed in with darker grounding shades such as charcoal and matt black. Steer clear of using it in a room with too many light, pastel shades if you want to be on-trend. If you’re not sold on adding too much of this look into your property, start small with things such as appealing woven ceiling fans, a single wicker chair in the bedroom, or a bedside table in the guest room.

Wallpaper

Wallpaper has been slowly but steadily making its way back into the interior decorating mainstream over the last few years. Many of the most prominent design names are using it or even lending their brands to collaborative  wallpaper projects.

Energize one or more rooms in your home with removable wallpaper that showcases big, bold, modern designs that add impact and creative flair. Almost like a wall-sized piece of art, today’s wallpaper options are large-scale and dramatic and add plenty of pizazz to any room.

Colorful Kitchens

For many years, most of us have kept our kitchens simple, light, bright, and white. After all, this neutral color palette suits all sorts of architectural styles and looks clean and fresh. However, color is creeping into the cooking zone of the home more and more.

With many designers and homeowners sick of the monochromatic, monotonous look, there has been a resurgence in appliances made in both bright hues and pastel shades, not to mention colored cabinets and striking benchtops. If you want to add energy to your kitchen without going all the way, bring in a pop of color with fun backsplash tiles or the smaller benchtop appliances you use, such as kettle, toaster, food processor, and coffee machine.

Maximalism

Are you sick of having to streamline all of your possessions and stick with simple furnishings, minimal accessories, and neutral shades in every room? If so, you’ll love the fact that maximalism is overthrowing minimalism in 2020.

Whether it’s to do with people wanting a change or needing to feel comforted by lots of homely belongings in a turbulent world, or something else, now’s the time to pull out all your beloved trinkets or pick up exquisite new finds from op shops, markets, or antique stores. Be open to looking beyond clean surfaces and sleek designs. Instead, look at pieces with plenty of curves, details, and even oversized scale.

Tin Ceilings

This letting go of minimalism is also affecting architectural and fixture and fitting design choices. Today, many people are keen to evoke old-world appeal and enjoy charming interiors that tell a story and have an emotional connection, whether their home is decades or hundreds of years old or brand new.

One way this choice is coming out is via the revival of tin ceilings. They were popular in the 1800s, and now homeowners and designers are yet again being drawn to the attractive, timeless patterns found in these kinds of vintage-look ceiling tiles. This funky feature can be customized to fit any room size or aesthetic, with many different embossed design options and shades to choose from.

80s Style

For years most of us have laughed about the lurid stylings that defined the 1980s and cringed at photographs of ourselves taken during the decade. Yet, in another example of people likely being sick of minimalism and all-white rooms, we’re seeing a current trend evoking the eighties’ heady boldness yet again.

Increasingly, people are incorporating fun retro aesthetics through 1980s-style pastel and neon shades, as well as geometric forms. If this all feels a little too bright for you, add in 80s flair with chequerboard and houndstooth flooring or upholstery.

The saying goes that a change is as good as a holiday. In a year when a global pandemic means many vacation plans are being postponed, now might be a great time to give your home a reboot. If so, consider one or more of the above trends as you design the spaces afresh.

5 Ways to Improve Your Sleep Quality Throughout the Night

Getting a good night’s sleep is nothing more than a dream for some people. But even those who can sleep like a baby experience a restless night or two (or five) on occasion. When that happens, we can feel it. Without those critical eight hours beneath our belt, we wake up lethargic, lacking the energy we’re used to sustaining us throughout the day.

It’s as though there’s a mental fog clouding our cognitive capacity, which makes it nearly impossible to focus or function at our finest. And after those really rough nights, hey, you might be proud of yourself for just making it through the entire day without crying.

Okay, maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but by and large, the jury agrees that poor sleep quality can make us grumpy, irritable, forgetful, more susceptible to stress, depression, anxiety… the list of health implications would need an entire blog post of its own! Today’s topic, however, is less concerned about neural science, and more concerned with what you can do to actually fix the problem so you can pull yourself out of a funk.

Here are five tips to improve your quality of sleep overnight, starting with the moment your head hits the pillow—you can even count them off like sheep to hit the hay a little faster!

1. Keep away from caffeine

Spoiler alert: caffeine is a stimulant. You probably (hopefully!) already knew that, but you might not be aware of how long it can keep your mind active and heart rate elevated. That

afternoon pick-me-up you hope will carry you through the final stretch of a long afternoon might be the reason you toss and turn, even though it was consumed hours ago.

And it’s not just coffee that’s the culprit—coffee, tea, chocolate, and everything else containing caffeine should be on your radar list, too. If you slipped and accidentally consumed something that gives you restless leg syndrome throughout the night, try winding down with some powerful CBD gummies that can knock the jitters right out of you.

2. Use more natural lighting (and less of the stuff)

Ever heard of a thing called “circadian rhythm”? It sounds like a dance move, but it actually refers to your body’s internal alarm clock. These 24-hour cycles are continuously running in the background to carry out essential functions—most importantly, the sleep-wake cycle. It’s responsible for flooding your bloodstream with the chemicals to induce tiredness or prompt alertness at the right time.

It’s pretty neat because at one point, the circadian rhythm was in sync with the earth’s orbit around the sun. You’d feel tired when the sun went down and awake once it got light again in the morning. Nowadays, however, our bodies get confused because the blue light emanating from tech devices like your TV, cell phone, and laptop trick our brains into believing it’s daytime, which makes it harder to fall asleep at an appropriate hour.

As promised, we’re not going to bore you with the technicalities. Just trust us when we say that you should try to turn off bright lights a couple hours before you want to fall asleep.

3. Sanctify Your Sleep Space

You’re not going to like this one, but if you really want to overhaul your overnight experience, rid your bedroom of all the distractions you can. Your bed should be exclusively reserved for sleeping—not watching television shows or scrolling through

social media while eating a late-night snack. Will you be staring at the ceiling for a while as you get used to the new routine? Probably. But give it some time and you’ll be amazed by how quickly you fall into a deep sleep once your body learns to shut itself down upon crawling into its sacred space.

That being said, we know it’s not necessarily easy to simply flip a “sleep switch”, especially for people who struggle with insomnia. If you need to relax before bed, we suggest reading a book, taking a bath, using essential oils, or practice meditation. Or why not all of the above?!

Wrapping Up

The feeling of being very well-rested is something you have to experience to understand. Once you get a taste of all the benefits, remember to keep these tips in mind so that you never fall back into a perpetual state of sleepiness!

Can You Get a Temporary Restraining Order During a Divorce?

Divorces are not easy. Everything is already breaking apart in your life, which somehow makes divorce both liberating and challenging. Not to mention, there is a lot of bickering, too. Knowingly and unknowingly, you may end up saying things you did not mean. It is all part and parcel of the divorce process.

When things go overboard, and it gets overwhelming, getting a restraining order against the spouse does seem a viable option to go for. If you are from Southern California and you think you need to file a restraining order, you definitely can hit up your San Bernardino divorce lawyer and have them file one for you. This article will provide you some of how you can get a restraining order during a divorce.

Does the Law Allow Filing Restraining Orders?

First off, you need to know that there are various types of restraining orders. The primary concept behind restraining orders is to protect the victim and get them maximum protection from their ex.

Many people are in toxic relationships where there is hitting and abuse involved. Well, most restraining orders are issued in such cases. In abusive relationships, there are power dynamics, and one of the partners is always a victim. So, the law allows spouses, with the help of a law firm like petersmay.com, to file a restraining order against their abusers during a divorce.

What Are the Different Types of Restraining Orders?

Violence is wrong, but it is there in many relationships. When an act of domestic violence and abuse occurs, the court can be made aware of the situation and request a restraining order against the abusers. It is a good idea to try and find a wealth of information from our professionals before moving to the courts so that you can be prepared for the process, as it’s often complex, difficult, and a time of emotional upheaval. No one wants to go through that without advice and support from someone who knows what they’re doing. But how will you know what category you fall in when looking at restraining orders?

So, the different types of restraining orders are as follows:

Emergency Restraining Order

As the title of this order explains, this restraining order can be filed during an emergency. In case the abuse goes overboard, the Police can issue one for you. Moreover, these types of orders are usually issued by the Police. However, these orders typically last for a week at the max.

Domestic Violence Restraining Order

This type of restraining order is separate from your divorce process. In this case, an act of domestic violence has taken place, and the issue is taken to court. The court arranges the hearing, and the judge decides if you need to file a Domestic Violence Restraining Order or DVRO.

Temporary Restraining Order

When the relationship is no longer working, and the couple has already filed for divorce, they tend to live away from each other; they do not find it feasible living together anymore.

So, during the process, you can file for a temporary restraining order or TRO. TRO does not need to know your domestic violence history. Moreover, TRO is explicitly designed for couples going through the process of divorce.

How Can You Do It?

So, before you talk to anyone about your decision to get a TRO, it is best to speak an attorney so that your case is handled in a better way. An attorney can help you to process an intervention order melbourne (or elsewhere depending on where you live), ensuring the order is legally watertight should your partner break the conditions. This also helps to reduce problems later on.

While it may seem different and odd to file a restraining order against a spouse with no domestic violence history, know that the TRO is made for people in your situation. You never know what might await, so it is always better to keep your distance even if your partner has no history of abuse and violence.

You Can Do Without These Beauty Products

Sometimes the beauty industry just leads us by the nose. Because some beauty products are of much more use to manufacturers than to consumers. Voucherful.co.uk found the 9 most pointless beauty products in the world.

We everyone likes to try new beauty products. The hundredth nail polish in a new shade of red, the miracle cream against wrinkles or the high-tech face brush; Experimenting is fun, but that doesn’t always make sense. If you want to save your wallet and your nerves, save yourself this beauty nonsense:

Shower sponge

A shower sponge is actually only useful for the bacteria that collect in it. Because of the constant and constant contact with moisture, the little pathogens feel right at home in such senseless beauty aids. Away with it!

Foot peeling

Occasional rub-offs make the feet velvety soft. That’s right. On the other hand, the assumption that a special foot peeling would be required is incorrect. A conventional peeling serves the same purpose!

Eyeshadow primer

It is supposed to extend the shelf life of eyeshadow on the skin and make it possible to apply precise make-up. Sounds good. But it also works without an expensive special primer. Namely, by spreading some concealer on the lids, dusting the whole thing with transparent powder and then applying the eyeshadow as usual.

48-hour deodorant

We don’t know whether they really keep their promises. But we don’t really want to know. Because we usually wash ourselves every day, and we actually feel very comfortable with this cleanliness routine.

Hair perfume

These products share the same fate as 48-hour deodorants. They are among those products that we do not even want to see in need. Because if our hair is smelly, we’d rather wash it than whitewash the smell.

Make-up removal wipes

Water, soap and a commercially available washcloth do the same; if not better. No one needs make-up removal wipes. And the environment doesn’t need these useless mountains of rubbish either.

Disposable razors

The same applies to disposable razors as to make-up removal wipes: We are doing Mother Nature no favors with such disposable items. So stay away from it!

Brush cleaner

Yes, it’s right; Brushes need to be cleaned every now and then so that no dirt collects in them. However, we do not need any expensive special cleaners for this. Baby shampoo does it too, and it’s even cheaper.

Anti-cellulite cream
