My husband is kind of hard to buy for, but I recently gave him an early Christmas present that was a big time hit!   Gary is a big music fan. every genre of music imaginable: country, bluegrass, pop, classic rock, R&B, and rap. He also listens to just about He plays a number of musical instruments, including banjo, guitar, piano, and mandoline.  And one of our favorite activities to do together is listen to music.  We often take turns picking out songs to listen to on Youtube to listen to.  And sometimes we’ll sing together, or he will get his guitar out and play along.  Needless to say, he was excited to open up his JBL Flip 2 Portable Speaker. People’s Sexiest Man Alive and a $20 Kroger Giveaway

Do you love PEOPLE Magazine?  From their celebrity gossip, to their style columns, to their movie news and reviews, it is filled with fun features to help you take a break from it all.

As I stand in the check line, I’m always interested to see who is on the cover and what the latest headline is.  My favorite feature of the magazine is the moview news and review.  I recently checked out their review of the new movie, Lincoln, which I’m anxious to see, and I also learned from the magazine that a new film adaptation of Anna Karenina is coming out soon, starring one of my favorite actresses Keira Knightly!

Whether you read the magazine or not, I know you have certainly heard of PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive issue.  The 2012 edition is coming out on November 16.  That’s this Thursday!  The issue will only be available for 2 weeks, so hurry up and grab your copy!

Who’s your favorite past winner or finalist?

I did a little research on the previous issues.  Some of my favorite “finalists”  include country singers Keith Urban and Tim McGraw, as well as actors James McAvoy and Robert Pattinson.

As for the 2012 issue, I’d love to see Chris Hemsworth from Snow White and the Huntsman get featured, and I would love to see more country stars like Blake Shelton or Jake Owen.
