“I’m hungry!”  This phrase is uttered so many times a day in my house by everyone, including me!  I thought that I’d have more time for cooking with school out, but boy, was I wrong!  The last few weeks I’ve been dealing with a pretty big work load, and on top of this, we’ve been doing improvements around the house: painting, de-cluttering and organizing, rearranging furniture. Ah!

By the time I get done with everything else I have to do, the last thing I want to do is cook.  And yet, “I’m hungry!” continues to echo through the hall (and in my own mind and stomach).

Ordering out is an option, but we can’t do that every day, so having easy and convenient food options is a MUST.  For that, I often go to the freezer! [Read more…]
