With the fall comes football season, and with football season comes football food! A while back, I shared some Buffalo Chicken Calzones, which I love to have for lunch or a quick dinner. Today I’m sharing basically the same recipe, except made with Crescent Rolls. These make for a great appetizer or party food a couple of people or a crowd! Hope you enjoy!
Nut Bread Muffins
Today I’m continuing my theme of breakfast recipes for this month with some homemade muffins that I make. This is actually a pound cake recipe, but last year I started dividing the recipe up into one bundt cake and a dozen cupcakes/muffins. And as it’s a fairly light cake, it makes for breakfast time treat. It would go great with coffee or a big glass of milk! Hope you enjoy!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Cereal Bars
I love cereal bars! They’re great for breakfast on the run and perfect for school snacks and lunches. After looking up and finding a few different cereal bar recipes, I decided to create my own!
These have a perfect mix of chocolate, peanut butter, and honey that everyone should love, and to make them even better I topped them off with M&M’s! Hope you enjoy! [Read more…]
Breakfast Bowls
Breakfast is one of my favorite meals. I could eat an order of eggs with a side of bacon, turkey bacon, or ham any day of the week! And I also a good serving of hasbrown casseroles and of course buttermilk biscuits! There’s no biscuits on the menu today, but I do have something just as good.
The other morning I was up early and I made myself a breakfast bowl. Usually when I’m home by myself I don’t cook for myself unless a microwave is involved, but I was really glad I threw this together. It turned out delicious!
Caramel Drizzle Freezer Pie
I’m so excited to share this week’s recipe with you! I saw this Caramel Drizzle Freezer Pie on Pinterest a few weeks ago, and I could hardly wait to make it! The recipe comes from All Recipes, a great source for any cook or baker, and I just know you’re going to love it!
This is the perfect pie for summer time because it’s very sweet and it’s also served cold. But I, for one, think it is the perfect pie for any time of year. I’m actually looking quite forward to making it for the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. And as if the taste of this pie wasn’t a good enough reason to make it, it’s also super easy to make, and the recipe yields 2 pies, so it’s perfect for parties and pot lucks.
Orange Dream Shake
Who doesn’t love orange dreamsicles and push-up pops? I know I love them, especially in the summer time! A few years ago, I got hooked on Sonic’s Orange Cream Slush. And since then, I’ve seen orange milkshakes popping up everywhere! But it’s much more affordable and convenient to make them at home, and it’s also super easy with this recipe!
Oh, and by the way, I also posted a similar recipe last summer. It involves a few more ingredients, but is equally good, and if you love orange, it’s definitely worth a look! Hope you enjoy!
Ultimate Uncooked Southern Banana Pudding
One of my favorite Southern Summer foods is banana pudding! A while back I found this no bake version over at Secrets of a Southern Kitchen. I was immediately attracted to this recipe because it includes a lot of my favorite ingredients like cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk! Yum! She calls it Ultimate Uncooked Southern Banana Pudding, and I completely agree with the name.
And I have to say, it was everything I thought it would be and more! So yummy! I’ll definitely make it again. In fact, I’m thinking this will be a new “go-to” recipe for family get togethers and parties! Hope you will try it!
Orange Buttercream Cupcakes
I’ve always loved orange muffins and cakes! So I thought it would be fun to make some Orange Buttercream Cupcakes. Of course, I found lot of recipes online! For the frosting, I decided to go with an Orange Buttercream from Real Mom Kitchen. And for the cake, I just used a simple Orange Supreme Cake Mix. They turned out delicious!
And today I’m also excited to try out the recipe plugin Ziplist for the first time. This will make it easier for you to print and save recipes at my site. Yay! Thanks to Dorothy at Crazy for Crust.
