Aunt Jemima’s Lil’ Griddles #AJLilGriddlesCG #spon

Mornings can be quite hectic.  It’s hard enough to get yourself up and ready to start the day, much less your kids.  And it is even hard to get everyone to the table for breakfast. Aunt Jemima is here to help with their frozen pancakes, French toast sticks, and other breakfast selections.

The goal of Aunt Jemima frozen breakfast is to deliver every batch just like you’d make it yourself. Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day, and Aunt Jemima frozen breakfast knows for moms, starting her family out with a warm breakfast makes the morning, and the entire day, even more special.

And now Aunt Jemima is introducing a knew line of frozen breakfast items, especially for the kids called Lil Griddles.  They are an excellent, on-the-go, bite sized breakfast option, and they come in three great varieties:

  • Aunt Jemima frozen Blueberry Mini pancakes
  • Aunt Jemima frozen Mini Pancakes
  • Aunt Jemima frozen Cinnamon French Toast Sticks

Aunt Jemima's Lil' Griddles

Personally I love pancakes!  My dad used to make them every Sunday when I was growing up, but quite honestly, even if I have the time, I don’t love the idea of standing over a hot griddle for a long time,  so a good frozen option is perfect for me.  They take only about 30 seconds to cook, which is great if you’re in a hurry, or if you decide to have breakfast at the last minute. And they still come out light and fluffy, and they taste just as good as homemade.

I shopped around in my area for the Lil’ Griddles line because I was especially excited to try their mini pancakes.  My dad used to make me “silver dollar” pancakes when I was little, and I felt the Lil’ Griddles Mini Pancakes would bring back those memories, but since I couldn’t find them, I purchased a box of the regular size Aunt Jemima Buttermilk Pancakes.  And they were just delicious and tasted like they were made from scratch!

I defiinitely recommend the Aunt Jemima frozen breakfast products to anyone looking for a fast, yet fresh and delicious as homemade option for breakfast!

Nut Bread Muffins

Today I’m continuing my theme of breakfast recipes for this month with some homemade muffins that I make.  This is actually a pound cake recipe, but last year I started dividing the recipe up into one bundt cake and a dozen cupcakes/muffins. And as it’s a fairly light cake, it makes for breakfast time treat.  It would go great with coffee or a big glass of milk! Hope you enjoy!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cereal Bars

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cereal Bars

I love cereal bars!  They’re great for breakfast on the run and perfect for school snacks and lunches.  After looking up and finding a few different cereal bar recipes, I decided to create my own!

These have a perfect mix of chocolate, peanut butter, and honey that everyone should love,  and to make them even better I topped them off with M&M’s! Hope you enjoy! [Read more…]

Breakfast Bowls

Breakfast is one of my favorite meals.  I could eat an order of eggs with a side of bacon, turkey bacon, or ham any day of the week!  And I also a good serving of hasbrown casseroles and of course buttermilk biscuits!  There’s no biscuits on the menu today, but I do have something just as good.

The other morning I was up early and I made myself a breakfast bowl.  Usually when I’m home by myself I don’t cook for myself unless a microwave is involved, but I was really glad I threw this together.  It turned out delicious!

Honey Bunches of Oats Review

I’ve also been a big cereal eater!  And I have to admit, I often get made fun of for liking “kid cereals.”  But I recently got a chance to try Honey Bunches of Oats, and I was very impressed with this cereal.  And it’s a cereal that tastes sweet enough to be liked by kids of all ages, yet still very healthy.

Honey Bunches of Oats has 10 grams of Whole Grain and just 6 grams of sugar per serving.  And it has 0 grams of trans fat, saturated fat, and 0 milligrams of cholesterol.

This is actually my first time to try this cereal. And I love the taste! I never realized it has a mixture of wheat, oat, rice and corn flakes.  This alone would make it a great, but then they had granola bunches to the mix, and the result is something very sweet and tasty.

I’m planning on recommending this cereal to my dad. He loves corn and rice cereals, and he also likes granola bars, so I believe he will love it.  If you like both of these, chances are you will love it to.

And by the way, there are so many varieties of Honey Bunches of Oats.  These include Honey Roasted, Almonds, Strawberry, Raisin Medley, Vanilla Bunches, Pecan Bunches, Cinnamon Bunches, and Just Bunches Honey Roasted.  And their new Fruit Blends include Banana Blueberry and Peach Raspberry.

Connect: Follow Honey Bunches of Oats on Facebook, and pick up some coupons for the cereal.
