Florida Strawberry Parfaits

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Fresh From Florida for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

It’s been rather cold around here the last few weeks and in much of the country, but luckily we can still get produce Fresh From Florida.

In Florida, February is actually strawberry season.  They even have their Florida Strawberry Festival in February and early March!  The great thing about strawberries, is they not only taste great but they are great for you!  They are a very wholesome food, rich in vitamins, which you can add to your diet and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Strawberries are also a very versatile food.  They are a perfect addition to your breakfast, whether eaten alone, on top of cereal, mixed with granola or yogurt, or as an ingredent for muffins.  They are also a great topping for a number of salads, and of course, the possibilties for strawberry desserts are endless!

Today I’ve got a wonderful recipe for you!  It’s a Florida Strawberry Parfait and it comes to us from our friends at Fresh From Florida.

It’s that time of year again! Time to pull a few dollars out of your pocket and buy a box of Girl Scout Cookies (Or two or three or four! You know you want them!)

Every year I look forward to breaking in to boxes of Thin Mints, Tagalongs, and other cookies I select from the Girl Scouts.  Not only are they delicious, but it’s a great opportunity to help a fantastic organization that does good work in the community and helps to teach and promote good lessons, values, and character development to our children. Easy Dinner Night with Manwich

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Manwich for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

When it comes to fast and convenient cooking, Manwich is one of my favorite go-to meals.  Manwich goes from package to plate in minutes, making it great for a last minute meals for busy weeknights.

It’s also a great meal  that moms, dads, and kidslove, and each can is free of artificial flavors and preservatives and has a full serving of vegetables.

To please everyone’s tastebuds, Hunt’s Manwich now comes in 3 varieties:

  • Original
  • Bold
  • Thick and Chunky

We normally eat the Original Manwich variety, but I was very excited to try the Bold version.  Like the original, the Bold is very delicious!  As you would expect, it has a very bold and tangy flavor.  And it’s also set apart from the Original Manwich, as it lacks a lot of the chunks of green pepper. (Perhaps a plus for family’s with extra picky kids.)

And if you really love the chunks of pepper, then the Thick & Chunky is definitely for you!

I love my Manwich served fresh on a bun with a slice of cheese with a side of chips or fries.

Or sometimes we will change it up with a little Manwich Pie, featuring our Manwich meat & sauce on top of a bed of corn chips and topped with cheese.

But in the future I’d love to try some of these other Manwich Recipes.
