Sweet Thursday: Holiday Favorites Edition

I have a wonderfully scrumptious collection of desserts for you today. The fall season and the holidays seem to bring out the best in everyone when it comes to baking. I’ve seen so many great desserts over the last several weeks. Too many to name! But here are just a few…and just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday next week so you have an excuse to “splurge” on these, so to speak!

Next Month’s Event: Because I’m diligently working on Christmas stuff for my blog, and especially the Holly Bloggy event, I’ve decided not to do a dessert round-up for December. Instead for my part of the Holly Bloggy, I’ll be hosting a recipe party on December 16, so I invite everyone to come by at that time to link up recipes. For this you can link up anything, not just desserts! And as always you can come by on Friday to link up your recipes and projects for Friday Favorites!

Sweet Thursday: Halloween Edition

Time for this month’s edition of Sweet Thursday! If you’re new here, this is my monthly dessert round-up, where you’re invited to link up a dessert that falls under our current theme. This month’s theme was Halloween/Fall. Thanks to all you great bloggers for sharing your sweets with us! I just love Halloween, and seeing all your great ideas makes it all even more fun!

For next month’s event, there will be no theme per se, but I will more than likely try to highlight some Family Favorites, Thanksgiving, and Holiday Desserts. So feel free to send in anything that you think would fit in well with that. You have until November 16 to send in any submissions. And then the linky event will go up on Wednesday night, November 17, for those who’d like to link something up. I realize that’s not really a whole lot of time, but towards the end of November I’ll be working on a lot of Christmas stuff (both on the blog and at home), and I want to make sure I can fit everything in to my schedule. (Plus, the following Thursday is Thanksgiving, and I know people will be busy with family at that time.)

Sweet Thursday: Christmas & Holly Bloggy Edition

If you’re not hungry and craving sugar, you will be after today’s post! Today is the Christmas/Holly Bloggy edition of Sweet Thursday! For those of you who are new to my blog, Sweet Thursday is my monthly dessert recipe event. Each month bloggers submit desserts that they’d like to have featured here, and each month we have a different theme to follow!

For this month, the theme is Christmas Recipes of course! And today, I’m actually combining Sweet Thursday with the Holly Bloggy After Party. (Sorry to those of you who submitted non-dessert recipes at the Holly Bloggy. Originally I had planned to do Sweet Thursday separate from the Holly Bloggy features, but as we are pressed for time this week, I had no choice but to combine them!)

After you take a look at today’s featured treats, be sure to go over to the Holly Bloggy Recipe Event if you haven’t already. There are a bunch more desserts listed there, as well as other non-sweet Christmas recipes to take a look at.
