Milly the Pinkest Kitten Review & Giveaway

I can’t think of anything cuter than kittens, except maybe a PINK kitten!  And what could be cuter than a pink kitten? Milly the Pinkest Kitten!  Milly comes from  Aurora World Inc, the company behind the best selling international toy brand YooHoo & Friends. (You may recall the YooHoo & Friends Giveaway I had earlier this year.)
Ten perfectly pink variations feature Milly as freestanding plush, in dress up or even portable via scented toy pet carriers!

Milly Birthday Girl  is available in two styles, holding either a colorful cupcake or birthday balloon. Milly WannaBes are dressed as a princess, ballerina or fairy.  And Aurora has introduced a line of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry scented carriers. Milly Cupcake Carriers include a removable eight-inch Milly plush animal.

For this review, I received Milly Birthday Girl and a Milly Cupcake Carrier.  Here’s a picture of them:

Aren’t these just adorable?! Each plush kitty cat is very soft and furry, and they’re even a little bit sparkly. They have the cutest little faces, and just like theYooHoo & Friends line, they have the cutest little tails.
Birthday Milly wears an adroable pink dress and wears a shiny Birthday Girl Crown.  My particular Milly carries a birthday cupcake.  And she’s eight inches tall.  I think Milly is just about the cutest stuffed animal I’ve ever seen!  I know I would have been thrilled to have received one of these as a kid for my birthday, and I imagine any girly-girl would love her.  I certainly would give these as a birthday gift myself and would recommend her to any of you who are shopping for birthday gifts as well.
And Milly Cupcake Carrier is just as equally adorable.  This Milly kitten is a little bit smaller than Birthday Girl Milly.  And she comes in her own scented cupcake pet holder.  These come in 3 different scents.  They are chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry, and the scent is said to last about 6 months.
The scent of my cupcake carrier is strawberry, and it smells just lovely!  The cupcake carrier is pink, magenta, and white in color.  It’s very soft, shimmery, and features shiny carrying handles.  And the carrier is even topped off with a little red strawberry.  Milly fits in nice and snug and is cute as a button in her cupcake carrier!

Introducing Rock of Ages

The pendants and stone beads I’m selling are her off-spring and through talented lapidarist eyes created into brillant pieces of art!”

When designing jewelry Jeanette draws on the colors in nature and paints with beads. She is not intimidated by color and shows that fearlessness in her work. She uses Tibetan silver from the Karen Hill Tribe, Bali silver, quality semi-precious stones, crystals, a variety of pearls, and beautiful handmade lamp beads.
Her eye for the obscure inspires her more unique pieces which include such rarities as dinosaur bone, mummy beads, and petrified coral, to name a few.
Jeanette has recently begun adding leather chokers to her shop. These come in beautiful custom colors and are made to size.  In the future she also hopes to add handmade earwire and other components for jewely making.

Spring Gift Guide

Rock Candy Vintage

Who doesn’t love vintage? My newest sponsor, Candace, of Rock Candy Vintage offers vintage clothing, bags, supplies, jewelry, and accessories. She originally started Rock Candy as a vintage clothing store on Ebay, and now she’s opened up a shop on etsy.

The Must-See items at Rock Candy Vintage are in the Tree Candy jewelry line. Tree Candy is a variety of necklaces made from wood pieces. The wood pendants are so unique and whimsical! I know you will just love them!

The Joshua Tree Necklace is made from a piece of cherry wood and features a tea stained mod podged photo of a Joshua Tree printed on recycled paper, an antiqued copper plated twisted chain, and turquoise colored beads. The back of necklace has a tea stained saying which reads: A story of Survival, Resilience, and Beauty, printed on recycled paper.

Candace has several necklaces that feature birds. These are made in the same fashion as the Joshua Tree necklace, and Candace has put much care and detail into the above design, using a piece of wood found in the desert and two small pieces of an actual cresote bush, glued and sealed with clear acrylic, to make it look like the bird is perched on a branch. The back of necklace has the logo “Tree Candy” burned into wood. Very nice!

For those of you who like personalized items, here’s something especially for you. Your love carving necklace will display your initials burned inside of a heart, and a date can be burned into the back. This necklace is also sealed and preserved with mod podge.

There are so many beautiful necklaces to be had in this shop! You’ll find butterfly necklaces, a cherry necklace, a rabbit, lots of beautiful birds, and there’s even a couple of Alice in Wonderland necklaces that are just adorable!

Millie’s Place

I’ve found another wonderful etsy shop to visit. It’s called Millie’s Place, and it’s your place for all things baked and sewed!

Donna of Millie’s Place sells a yummy assortment of baked goods that are made fresh when you order them. And you’ll definitely be hungry after you see what she has to offer! You’ll find brownies, oatmeal raisin cookies, lemon glazed shortbread cookies, jumbo chocolate chip cookies with walnuts, and even low-fat chocolate chip cookies. And how would like to try some ginger bars or ginger whoopie pies like the ones pictured here? Yum!
