I love homemade bread! Last year I had the chance to try Fleischmann’s Simply Homemade Bread Mixes, and I made this lovely loaf of wheat bread:

The bread turned out just fabulous! So I was very excited when I was asked to try Fleischmann’s Simply Homemade Pretzel Mix! You can find this mix along with other Fleishmann’s Simply Homemade mixes in the baking section at your local market.
For this baking project, I decided to use the pretzel mix to make Cheddar Bacon Pretzel Bites. For these, I rolled the dough in to 1.5 inch balls (and I made some of them smaller, only because I didn’t know if they would rise). But you could also make actual pretzel shapes, or sticks, twists, bigger rolls, or even in to a bread loaf.
Either way you to choose to do it, this recipe makes for a great party appetizers or just a snack for the family!

I received samples of PEEPS® holiday products, including Marshmallow Trees and Peppermint flavored Marshmallow Stars. The peppermint flavor inspired me to create a Frozen Peppermint Pie (decorated with the PEEPS® Peppermint flavored Marshmallow Stars, of course).

This week I’m sharing a classic Southern recipe. Pecan Pie is a quintessential dessert for Thanksgiving and Christmas here in the South. I recently made my very first Pecan Pie. I’d never made it before because I’m usually more of a chocolate fan, but the pie was requested, so I gave it a whirl. It was way easier to make than I imagined it would be, and it turned out really great!
Caramel is one of my favorite ingredients, and it’s such a great flavor for fall. Today I’m sharing a super easy caramel cheesecake that I made recently. Breakfast can be a real challenge. Not only do you have to fight to get everyone awake and ready to start their day, but you have to find something that everyone loves to eat. Cereal is a simple go-to item, but there’s nothing like a hot breakfast. But let’s face it, the traditional favorites like bacon, eggs, and pancakes can also get old. I got the idea for this Oreo Icebox Cake from this recipe for Chips Ahoy Icebox Cake by Spend with Pennies.
