Special Announcement: Coming in November

I had planned to put up this post next week, but I have a sponsored post coming up related to the topic, so I thought it would be good to go ahead an make the announcement now…

After a long time of trying and much anticipation, I am happy to announce that we are expecting!  Our little baby bird is expected to arrive on November 17.  (And I’m really hoping he/she arrives on this day so he/she can share a birthday with my dad.)

If you are a regular reader to my blog and have noticed that I have posted as regularly as I have in the past….this would be a large reason why, but hopefully I can get back on track soon….at least till November!

We had our first sonogram done at 7.5 weeks.  There’s not much to see, but it was still a cool experience, and we were happy to hear a strong heart beat!

I’m also following the popular trend of documenting the pregnancy in photos.  Again, there’s not much to see yet.  At my first OB-GYN appointment I weighed a whopping 99 pounds, so every one is curious to know what I will look like in a few months.

And here’s my latest photo.  Again there’s not much change to see, although I’ve certainly felt the changes!

Next week we go for our next OBGYN appointment, and I hope to have a good report!  Anyway, I just wanted to make the official announcement, and I’m sure that other related content will follow this late breaking development, so please stay tuned!
