I’m so excited to report that I’ve officially joined the beauty box craze. Earlier this week I received my very first Target Beauty Box. Target’s Beauty Box comes out each month. It is not a subscription program, but is instead an item that you have to go on the Target website and purchase each month. The Beauty Box sells for a $10 flat fee, plus tax. (My cost $10.90.) The box is available for sale at the first of the month, generally on a Thursday, and if you subscribe to Target’s ad by email, you will receive notice when it is available for purchase.
I ordered my box on October 31, and it shipped the same day. The box is very sleek, and unlike a lot of subscription programs, you can actually view all of the items contained in the box before you order it.
In addition to the handful of product samples and full size products, you also get a $3 off coupon with your box. (Since I’ll definitely use the $3 off coupon, this is like getting the box for $7.)
Here’s a quick rundown of what’s inside:
- L’Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Volume Filler Thickening Shampoo – This shampoo smells great! The formula permeates, fills and expands every strand to make hair look and feel twice as thick.
- Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Beautiful Day Cream – This is a very high quality product with a pleasant scent. Alpine rose stem cells, pomegranate, hyaluronic acid and aloe vera nourish, tighten and revive skin on a cellular level.
- Hask Keratin Protein Smoothing Deep Conditioner Packet – These packets normally sell for $2 on their own. This product is formulated to repair damanged, over-processed hair helping reduce breakage and static.
- W3LL People Bio Brightener Stick – This illuminating cream creates an instant glow with premium natural ingredients and organic botanicals.
- L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Primer – This is a full size product that normally sells for $6 all by itself. It is lightweight primer enhances mascara, helping it go on smoothly for visibly thicker and longer lashes.
- Revlon Colorstay Eye Liner – This is another product that usually sells for $6. It is a retractable pencil with a built-in sharpener keeps lines neat while its waterproof formula offers all day-wear.
- Laneige Water Bank Soothing Gel Mask – This non-slip sheet mask infused with hydro-ionized mineral water delivers intense moisture while soothing skin. (And a 5 count package of this product normally sells for $24, making the single mask worth $4.80).
As you can see, the Target Beauty Box is well worth the price of $10. And ordering the Beauty Box also gives you an opportunity to try out some great products without paying full price!
