This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and DaySpring, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #DayspringSadieRob http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV
Every day I’m troubled by a lot of the things I see and hear on movies, television, music, and other media. The decline in faith and family values, and the lack of positive messages and role models often leads me wondering and worried about where we’re headed.
We try to do our part to lead positive lives and encourage the young people in our family to do the same. One thing I especially wish for the young ladies in our family is that they maintain self respect and a positive image. I want for them to be proud of who they are and not define themselves based on what others think, or feel they have to change to fit someone else’s ideal.
I, for one, wish I could have figured that out a long time ago! I am in my 30s and I still occasionally struggle with self esteem issues. I’ve always had severe anxiety, and because of that, I really missed out on a lot of opportunities. As a student, my grades were nearly perfect, and yet I never really felt completely confident in a classroom. My anxieties also left me very distrusting of a lot of people, and as a result I found it very hard to open up and get to know most people.
Whether you’re a student in high school or college, you’re out in the work force, or if you’re a stay-at-home mom, maintaining a positive attitude is essential. You can be smart, talented, and attractive, but if you don’t have self-confidence and aren’t able to be comfortable just being yourself, then you are lost! None of that other stuff matters.
My husband and I watch Duck Dynasty a lot. I like it because it’s a funny show about simple folks that we can relate to, but I also like it because the Robertsons share a lot of the same values I grew up with.
If you’re also a fan of the show, you’ve undoubtedly seen the adorable Sadie. I love Sadie because she is such a great role model for young ladies. Now a motivational speaker, Sadie talks about her faith in God and the importance of a living a positive life. Sadie now has her own collection of school supplies, stationary, cards, and other gift items, called Live Original. It’s available right now at Hobby Lobby and will soon be at a Walmart store near you.
The Sadie Robertson Live Original products stand out immediately on the shelves. They feature lovely artwork with bright colors and cute embellishments, and each piece features a positive or inspiration quote, as well as scripture.
This is such a great line! Just seeing a few positive words can be so uplifting, and I’ve never needed positive words of motivation more than when I’m working! How about you?
I purchased a few of Sadie’s products at Hobby Lobby. The store had her greeting cards, as well as journals and a cute folder of sticky notes. These are located in the card and gift section. The cards were easy to find as they were clearly marked with Sadie’s logo. The gift and stationary items were beside the cards, but if you have any trouble finding these, they are made by DaySpring, so I’d check around the aisle for products.
I picked up the folder of Live Original sticky notes. Aren’t they cute? I’m always using sticky notes at my desk. They are great for jotting down important dates, info about Noah’s school stuff, blogging notes, etc.
And when it comes to school, sticky notes come in handy when it is time to bookmark and take notes in a book you are reading, plan a paper, or just write yourself a quick reminder.
I also got a couple of Sadie’s Live Original Cards. The two I picked are basically cards you can sound out “just because.” And they’d be great to send to your favorite teen or any lady who is special to you.
We have a few teens and tweens in our family, and I thought the only thing better than sharing products which relay a positive message, is putting those products in to a fun gift basket. Since it’s Back to School and Back to College Season, the Live Original products fit right in. And hopefully a fun gift basket can help our favorite teen get excited about school!
Sadie’s line has a lot of other school supplies that would be perfect for any high school or college student. They include the sticky notes, composition notebooks, spiral notebooks, paper folders, and journals.
Additionally, here I’ve included blue and black pens, as well as colored pens, and highlighters, and a few book covers. Then we have a few snack items. (Think individually wrapped items like granola bars, chocolates, toaster pastries, fruit snacks, etc.) Finally, I included a bottle of body spray as a bonus gift!
Other items you may consider for a great girl’s back to school gift basket are a planner or desk calendar, pencil pouch, markers, note cards, lotion, lip balm, and organizer products.)
What do you think of Sadie’s collection? How do you instill good values in your kids? Please tell me your thoughts in the comment section.

The more I learn about Sadie, the more I like her.
Yes, Michelle. I’ve always liked her, and it’s so great to see the wonderful things she is now doing.
Lovely cards. However, I have to say that I now make all of my own. Oh well. Still lovely. 🙂
jengd, do you make cards as a hobby? or do you have a shop? If you have work posted somewhere, I’d love to take a look.
I love the cards, I think they would work for any age. Who doesn’t need positive encouragement?
Yes, and this is such an easy way to put a smile on someone’s face!
I love these heart warming inspiring messages, no need to wait for a birthday, you can buy and make someone’s day.
Yes, Cynthia. I recommend this as a great gift for someone who’s in need of encouragement or some positive words.
