The Home Depot Spring DIY Program and the Garden Club

Aren’t you ready for this unseasonably cold weather to go away? I know I am!  I’m so excited to see the flowers and trees in bloom.  And this year, I’m even more excited because I will be teaming up with The Home Depot for the The Home Depot Spring DIY program.  As part of the program, I will be tackling some do it yourself projects with supplies from The Depot, and I will be sharing them here with you.

Yard Pictures

I have a number of outdoor projects that need to be done. After a long winter, I need the usual yard maintenance.  We got a headstart on that a few weeks ago by pruning some trees back, other than that, we have yet to do any yard work this year.  Apart from the usual mowing, I have some flower beds in need of maintenance.  And it would be great to clean the furniture on my front and back porches. Our siding could also use a good cleaning, my front door needs some refinising, and then we need just some general maintenance all around. Phew! That sounds like a lot of work!  I’m not sure we’ll get to all that, but we can certainly try!

For some inspiration, I’ll be looking at some projects from The Home Depot Garden Club.  They have a variety of projects for all skill levels from novice to expert.  And you can learn how to do everything from making a window bird feeder to building a walking path, and more!  One project I’m interested in from the Garden Club is starting seeds at home with a seed starter, as seen here:

When you join the Garden Club you will get$5 off your next purchase of $50 or more.  You will also receive over $300 a year in exclusive email savings.  And of course you will get all the project ideas, including ones that would work specifically well in your region, along with product information, and expert tips and video tutorials.

I’m very excited to be teaming up with The Home Depot this spring, and I hope you will come by to see what kinds of projects we tackle!
