Planting Bulbs and a Yard Makeover with Curbside Chaos

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Bulbs. Dig, Drop, Done. for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Last year a posted about the Curbside Chaos giveaway from Dig. Drop. Done, in which they gave away a $5000 Yard Makeover!  The winner was Ruth from Fairfax, Virginia.  Check out this video where Taniaya Nayak gets together with Ruth and her family to plan the perfect yard makeover!

What would you do with a $5000 yard makeover?  We have a place in our yard where there used to be a tree. I would love to plant a new tree there and surround it with a bed of flowers.  It would also be great to have some flowers around the mailbox and do some work on our flower beds.

Did you know that fall is the time to plant bulbs so that you can have beautiful blooms in the spring? Head over to Curbside Chaos and select the flowers you wish to plant, along with your region, and the month you wish for your flowers to bloom, and you will get a planting guide telling you when and how to plant your bulbs.

I created a gardening plan for Hyacinths to bloom in North Alabama in May:

And you can visit to learn more about bulbs and get great planting tips and charts, and also learn other ways that you can use bulbs aside from gardening!

Also, get tips from the Dig. Drop. Done. Ladies.  They are Marcy the Super Mom, Julia the Fashionista, and Evelyn the Emptynester.  (Being a homemaker, I idenitify most with Marcy.  How about you?)

Aside from helping people to make their yards beautiful, Dig. Drop. Done. helps those in need through Rebuilding Together, the nation’s leading nonprofit, working to preserve affordable homeownership and revitalize communities.

For every share on twitter with the hashtag: #CurbsideChaos, Bulbs. Dig, Drop, Done.” will donate $1.00 to Rebuilding Together.
