The Kroger Co. Family of Stores, General Mills, NBC’s hit television show “The Biggest Loser” and other key sponsors are partnering to donate up to $1,080,000 to Feeding America this year.

I was excited to find out about this program because my husband just started a weight loss program. He is vowing to lose 60 pounds! So I was happy to send him over to the Pound for Pound Challenge to make a pledge! You should go make a pledge too. It only takes a minute, and it’s for a great cause!

We are a very active household – we ride our bike everywhere and try to run at least three times a week. So far we haven't had much trouble with weight and hopefully it will stay that way!

I manage my weight by exercising daily, I also work hard to eat healthy and concentrate on my future. With this thought process I am able to push past unhealthy food that will only make me happy for a few minutes and focus on whats going to make me happy for the rest of my life.

I exercise almost every day…from walking to hiking to doing a dvd. I also am a lifetime vegetarian who has now gone vegan.
I also shed 5 lbs this month by giving up alcohol. Sad, but true!
