Lemon Muddy Buddies Mix
Still eating leftover jelly beans from Easter? Or are you more like me and you like to buy jelly beans year round? Either way, you’ll love today’s fun recipe. Over the weekend I made some delicious Lemon Muddy Buddies Mix. I love muddy buddies, and I’ve been wanting to try the lemon flavor a while…believe me, it didn’t disappoint! When I make muddies, I always like to have at least one “add in.” The add-in not only mixes things up in terms of flavor but it also adds a lot to the overall color and presentation of the mixture. To liven up these lemon muddies, I added some Brach’s Jelly Beans.
The jelly beans went perfectly with this lemon, and I’d imagine it would be great with other fruit flavored and even plain vanilla muddies. So break out your left over Easter jelly beans or go out and buy a new bag, and give it a try!

Someone always seems to be hungry at our house, and HOT POCKETS® are definitely one of our go-to snacks! They are delicious, hearty, and made with high quality ingredients we love. I’ve always been a fan of the Hickory Ham & Cheddar, while our son prefers the pizza varieties. On a recent grocery shopping a trip, I found one of our favorite snacks in a new form! Delicious Ideas for National Sloppy Joe Day and Manwich Mondays
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Manwich. All opinions are 100% mine.
At my house we often plan our meals around work and school activities. A long day of work, followed by late pick up from school due to band practice or other after school activities means I need a quick dinner option.
One of my “go-to” meals for days like this is sloppy joes made with Manwich. Manwich is a great meal time option, because the whole family loves it. (Believe me, it wouldn’t be a regular go-to meal if it didn’t have my stepson’s seal of approval!)
It also comes in three great varieties: Manwich Original, Manwich Bold and Manwich Thick & Chunky.
My favorite variety is Manwich Bold. It’s great for my favorite Manwich Melts. (Just add your favorite cheese and sandwich toppings. I like mine with mayo and dill pickles!)
Another thing I like to make with Manwich sauce is meatloaf and mini meatloaf cups.
National Sloppy Joe Day is coming up March 18. You can celebrate the occasion by serving up some yummy Manwich sandwiches, or make something else with Manwich’s yummy sloppy joe sauce!
- Spoon Manwich meat in to a casserole dish and top with mashed potatoes for delicious and saucy Shepherds Pie.
- Pour over Fritos and add cheese for a yummy Manwich Pie.
- Add Manwich to hard or soft shell tortillas for Manwich Tacos.
- Add cooked pasta to your Manwich meat for a yummy skillet meal.
The Manwich website is also filled with Manwich Mondays Recipes and other great ideas for how you can think outside the bun and use Manwich sauce to make great weeknight meals for your family. You can also subscribe to the ReadySetEat enewsletter for great ideas in your inbox!
Simply Fruit Punch Mocktails and Simply Juice Drinks Giveaway
Yesterday we had a lovely afternoon: a sunny sky and temperatures in the upper 60s. I’m definitely looking forward to more days like this! It gives my husband and I the chance to just sit on the front porch or the backyard deck and watch the world go by! Of course, this scene would not be complete without a cool, refreshing drink in our hands! Just last week I picked up some Simply Juice Drinks for this very purpose. [Read more…]
