Out next blogiversary giveaway is from Sew Chatty. Sew Chatty is a cute Etsy shop featuring items for home, baby, and fun!


The shop is owned by Elizabeth, a wife and mom from California. She sews and crochets all the items found in the shop, and her creations are inspired by her favorite stores and boutiques.
Elizabeth also says she’s inspired items she’s seen in her own home or other places: “Often times I get an idea from something I’ve seen somewhere, figure out how to make it, and then tweak it a bit to make it ‘me’.”

The shop carries some cute accessories, including crochet headbands (or urban turbans) and even lace adorned coffee cuffs. 

She also has some adorable Linen and Lace Wristlet Clutch bags.  These feature some really fun fabrics and lace, and they are great for carrying a variety of accessories, including your cell phone, wallet, lotion, makeup, business card holder, keys, and more!

Our next giveaway is from Everyday Lettering, your place for custom word and name art, made from photographs of everyday things.

You can choose from 3 different options:

The Block: This option features each picture in your word/name on an individual block. Each block measures approximately 5.5 inches high X 3.5 inches wide X 1.5 inches deep.

The Board: This option features your entire word/name together on a single board. The piece measures 5.5 inches high X 1.5 inches deep and just over 3 inches wide per letter.

The Single: For this option you are ordering just the photographic prints of the letters you choose for your word/name. Then you can do what you want with them. You could get your word/name custom framed or possibly find a frame with the correct number of openings in a store. Frame them individually or in some cute vintage frames. The sky is the limit.You can order in either 3.5X5, 4X6, or 5X7-inch prints.

And each letter of the alphabet comes in a variety of fun styles.

As many of you know October is National Breast Cancer awareness month, and many companies are getting on board to support this cause.  Freschetta is joining the effort with their Proud to Support Pink Program.

From September 25 through October 31, when you purchase specially marked-packages of Freschetta pizzas and Artisan pizza crusts you will be helping to suport the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

Blogiversary Giveaway #2: Ramen to the Rescue Cookbook (with Review)

I’ve always loved Ramen noodles.  I can’t tell you how many packages I’ve eaten of these over the years. Let’s just say, it’s a lot!  Today I’m sharing a new book that shows you new, creative recipes that you can make with Ramen.  It’s called Ramen to the Rescue.

Ramen to the Rescue, written by Jessica Harlan, contains 120 recipes.  Here’s a little information on the book:
“Ramen to the Rescue Cookbook shows those millions of noodle slurpers innovative new ways to enjoy beef, chicken, pork and shrimp ramen-flavored dishes that are so much more than soup. The ultimate collection of comfort-food-noodle recipes, Ramen to the Rescue includes a wide array of mouth-watering treats from Pesto Ramen with Chicken and Hamburger-Noodle Bake to more exotic Asian-inspired dishes like Spicy Basil Ramen Stir-Fry and Soy Sauce Ramen Cabbage Salad. My Thoughts:  I love Ramen because it’s super inexpensive; it’s very easy to make, and it’s so flavorful. But this cookbook takes Ramen to a whole new level.  There’s some great sections in the book, including every course from Snacks and Starters to Desserts and Sweets.  And no matter what your tastes and cooking style, you’re sure to find something that your family will love, whether you enjoy home-style comfort food, meatless means, or Asian-Inspired Classics.
Some recipes that I’d most like to try include: Ramen-N-Cheese, Ramen Alfredo, and Chicken Pot Pie.
I’m also intrigued by some of the breakfast options like the Bacon, Egg, and Noodle Scramble and the Crispy Potato Pancake.
And I can’t talk about the book without mentioning the dessert section. The recipes include Ramen-Mallow Treats, Ramen Noodle Pudding, and even Pineapple Upside Down Cake with Candied Noodles.
I think this would be a great book for students and newlyweds, as well as experienced cooks, looking for creative and economical recipes.

I was very excited to learn about this new product.  I’m always looking for fast breakfast options, and I love that these goes from the freezer to your table in a couple of minutes (way less time than it would take for me to bake biscuits in the oven, scramble the eggs, and cook the meat).
I chose to try the biscuit sandwiches because I love biscuits, and I love breakfast items that are easily portable.  My husband doesn’t really have time to eat a big breakfast before work, so he often carries a piece of fruit or a snack bar in the mornings. But with these new sandwiches, I can easily make a quick breakfast while he’s in the shower and wrap it up for him to take with him.
I purchased each of the varieties of breakfast sandwiches.  I was very pleased by the taste of these, and I was very surprised by how fresh they tasted.  Our favorite was the Bacon & Cheese Sandwich, but they were all rather good. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a hot and fast breakfast option.

Harvest Halloween Sponsor #2 Paramore Art Works

It’s time to spotlight another Harvest Halloween sponsor.

Paramore Art Works is a unique Etsy shop, which offers handmade gift tags, word banners, potion bottles, and witches’ wands!

This is a fanstastic shop! The items have a sort of vintage, shabby-chic appeal, which I love! A couple of my favorite fall items are these cute tags, although I also love her Halloween garlands!

The thing that really makes Paramore Art Works stand out is their line of witches’ wands and potion bottles!  

What a great decor idea! Each bottle is adorned with cute tags and embellishments, making them perfect for a Halloween themed mantle or buffet. So fun!

The shop also has a lot of non-Halloween items which I wanted to highlight.  I really like their word banners like this one:

My Thoughts: As someone with a lot of collectibles and keepsake items, I love this frame! I normally put my keepsakes in my China cabinet, but with this frame I can now take select items and display them on my desk, a shelf, or any other area of the house for better viewing, and I don’t have to worry about them collecting dust.

I also love how quick and easy it is to place your items in the display frame.  It’s much easier than mounting your items in traditional shadow frames, which often requires using adhesives that can damage your collectibles. And the Z-Access frame you can remove your items from the frame at any time.  And it’s also more convenient and way less expensive than sending your items off to be professionally framed.

If you’re looking for a better way to display your memories and collectibles, you should definitely consider this frame!
