Making Tough Jobs a Breeze with Mean Green

It definitely feels like summer around here, but I’m still working on some of my spring cleaning goals.  A couple of months ago, I posted some spring cleaning tips, and one key tip that I stressed was to maintain your home every day.  In case you missed that post, here’s the free printable checklist that I shared:

It’s also important to have the proper products and tools available to help you get the job done!  Recently I shared the entire line of Mean Green products with you.  I believe their product line includes something for everyone, no matter what your personal preferences are and what you’re needing to clean.

Today, in particular, I’d like to highlight the Mean Green Anti-Bacterial Cleaner.  This great product is a degreaser like the original Mean Green, but as implied, it is also an anti-bacterial cleaner, making it especially great for use in your kitchen and bathroom.

In my kitchen, I find it very helpful in cutting through and removing stuck-on food, as shown below:

Counter Before and After

Other strategies that are helpful when removing food or anything that is stuck on your surfaces, include: sprinkling the item with a little baking soda before cleaning, using an abrasive pad or brush to scrub, and applying hot water to your scrubber or cleaning rag.

It’s also important to use this proper on kitchen sinks and counter tops, especially food prep areas, because the Mean Green Anti-Bacterial Cleaner works to kill salmonella and e-coli.  You just need to spray on your cleaner and let it set for 10 minutes before completely cleaning off.  With the summer grilling season upon us, my husband and I are doing a lot of grilling and smoking outside, and it’s more important than ever that our kitchen areas stay sanitized.

Sink Cleaning

As I mentioned before, the Anti-Bacterial Cleaner is also a must-have product for the bathroom.  After 10 minutes of contacts, it works to kill staphylococcus aureus, streptococcus pyogenes and a number of viruses.

And as you can see in my photo above, it’s also great at removing oil and grease left behind from when Mr. Fix It came in to wash his hands after a day of working out in the garage.
