Today we’re doing holiday baking with a new “secret ingredient.” The secret ingredient, which I’m about to reveal to you is Nestle Toll House DelightFulls. As I was shopping for baking ingredient last week, I found these little jewels and just had to try them out! Imagine your favorite baking chips, then imagine them a little bigger and with a special surprise inside!
Nestle Toll House DelightFulls Filled Baking Morsels come in four amazing flavorings for your baking (and bite size snacking) pleasure. The flavors are:
- Milk Chocolate Morsels with Caramel Filling
- Milk Chocolate Morsels with Peanut Butter Filling
- Dark Chocolate Morsels with Mint Filling
- Dark Chocolate Morsels with Cherry Flavored Filling
With the holiday baking season in full swing I had so many ideas for how to use these. For my first recipe experiment, I decided to use the Milk Chocolate Morsels with Peanut Butter Filling.
As someone who LOVES anything with peanut butter and chocolate, I just had to try these. The morsels seriously taste good enough to eat alone, like a gourmet chocolate & peanut butter candy. I had resist the temptation to eat them all while I was baking. (Luckily I bought an extra bag.)
Anyway, I think you will find these morsels to be good as an add-in for no bake recipes, as well as an ingredient for your baked goods.
Today I’m sharing a recipe for Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Bars. As a kid, we always made a lot of candy and cookies around the holidays. I love that tradition, but I don’t always have time to sit around roll out balls or dip candies, so bars are usually a quick and easy alternative to other holiday candies I love. I also love bars because it’s like a cross between a brownie and a cookie, so how can you possible go wrong with that?
And let me tell you, the Nestle Toll House DelightFulls made a great substitute for the usual chocolate chips that go in to this recipe! Check it out!
