HomeRight SteamMachine Review and Giveaway

HomeRight SteamMachine

Some of you may remember the Homeright Deck Washer I reviewed here last year.  Now I’m pleased to present another product from Homeright:  The SteamMachine Multi-Purpose Power Steamer. The SteamMachine uses pressurized, high temperature, steam to loosen and dissolve dirt, grease, grime and kill 99% of germs and bacteria without use of any chemicals!

The SteamMachine is very versatile and comes equipped with six attachments so that you can clean a variety of surfaces including kitchen counter tops, vinyl floors, tile floors, ovens, stovetops, bathroom fixtures and barbecue grills.

And as if that is not enough, its steam plate is the fastest and easiest way to remove wall paper!

One Pan Fudge Cake

One Pan Fudge Cake

As you know I’m a huge chocolate fan! This week I’ve got a delicious cake that any chocolate lover will adore!   This One Pan Fudge Cake is super easy to make!  You conveniently place the ingredients in the pan you will make it in (no mixing bowls, no stirring; hence the name “one pan fudge cake.’)  And it comes out perfectly moist!  Then I like to top it with a jar of Hershey’s Hot Fudge Topping, but you also top it with your favorite frosting if you prefer that.  Then I like to serve it hot with ice cream or whipped topping.  But you can also let it cool, and it’s just as good!

And did I mention this is a perfect dessert for a cold winter’s day?  Just try it and you’ll see!

Friday Favorites – Week 154

friday favorites

Happy Valentine’s Day! And welcome to another edition of Friday Favorites. Since I was such a slacker last week, and since I’ll be going out for Valentine’s Day tonight and I don’t know if the WordPress coding issues are over yet, I’m starting the party a little early. I’m also doing a double feature for you this week since I didn’t get a chance to do features last week.  However, I think I had more link ups than ever before, so perhaps I should be a slacker more often. haha!  Hope you enjoy these fun ideas from our friends!

Rolo Pretzel Candy

Rolo Candy

I’ve been seeing and hearing about Rolo Pretzel Candy for years, but I’ve never been at a party where it was served or tried it myself.  I finally decided to change that, and I loved it!  Not only are they tasty, but they cook up in about 5 minutes, making them the perfect treat for parties or everyday snacking!

owl-thanks
At the start of a new year I always like to assess what I did last year on the blog.  Today I FINALLY wanted to take a moment and thank everyone who supported my blog in 2012.  I was given a lot of great opportunities last year, and I couldn’t have that without great blog readers and friends.  I couple of weeks ago I got my “2012 Report” from WordPress, and I just wanted to take a moment to thank and recognize my top commenter, referrals, and some other folks who really helped out last year!

Valentine Dryer Sheet Wreath

Dryer Sheet Wreath

Although I make jewelry, I’ve never otherwise considered myself to be a very crafty person.  I believe I can cook…people love my cooking!  And I also love to write poetry and write here on this blog.  But my attempts at art are generally bad!  For this reason, I try to keep projects simple!  One thing that I’ve found just about anyone can do is make wreaths!  Today I’ve got a very simple Valentine’s Day Wreath that I made out of used dryer sheets!

Yes, you read that right—dryer sheets!  So basically today we have simple, crafty, economical project, and a form of recycling all rolled in to one post! [Read more…]
