With the coming of the cool fall weather (not to mention, the cold winter ahead), I love to make warm hearty meals like soups! Bertolli has a fantastic line of Meal Soups, Risottos, and Meals that go from the freezer to the stove top, to your table in minutes!
I love Bertolli! Their products smell and taste so fresh! And they are just as good as food from a fine restaurant or something made from scratch!
Earlier this year I tried their Roasted Chicken & Rotini Pasta Soup, and I really enjoyed it, so I was thrilled when I got the opportunity to try some new products from Bertolli!
I received Bertolli’s new Risottos, which come in two great flavors:
Garlic Shrimp Risotto features Italian rice and garlic shrimp with zucchini, yellow squash and red peppers in a white wine cream sauce.
Roasted Chicken Risotto features Italian rice and roasted white meat chicken with Portobello mushrooms and asparagus in a parmesan cheese cream sauce.
And I received Bertolli’s 2 new soup flavors:
Bertolli Ricotta and Lobster Ravioli in a Seafood Bisque features Ricotta and lobster-filled ravioli with diced celery and carrots in a rich seafood bisque.
Bertolli Italian-Style Wedding features Mini Italian-style meatballs with spinach, bacon pieces, carrots and ditalini pasta in a savory broth.
I made the Italian-Style Wedding soup the other day. Having never tried anything like this before, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! It is so flavorful! It is very hearty and comforting. And I’d say it’s like your favorite noodle soup with a spicy Italian kick!
The soup is also nice and thick, and the vegetables are the perfect size. The meatballs are also delicious, and I love the little bits of bacon added in. And the broth is really good and ties everything together perfectly. I think it’s amazing how all these very different foods and flavors come together in this soup.
And you will love how quick and easy it is to make! Just add your soup and a cup of water to your pot. Bring the soup to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes!
I really enjoyed this soup and look forward to having it again in the future!
