And using Campbell’s Skillet Sauces, you can have a complete meal ready in just 15 minutes, with three easy steps:
- HEAT. Heat oil in skillet over medium/high heat.
- ADD. Add your protein or vegetables and cook until browned.
- STIR. Stir in sauce and heat to boil. Reduce heat and cover for five minutes or until protein is cooked through and/or vegetables are tender.
I decided to try the Creamy Chipotle first. It is smoky chipotle peppers combined with black beans, sweet roasted corn, and Monterey Jack cheese, creating a robust, medium-heat sauce that delivers southwest excitement in each bite.
I really enjoyed the sauce! For my meal, I decided to put the sauce with chicken and spaghetti noodles! I used one pound of chicken (cooked and chopped), and I used 2 cups noodles. It would have been better if I’d used less noodles or used a second pounch of sauce, but other than that, this was a great combination!
On their site, Campbell’s also suggests using these for beef or chicken tacos and burritos. I think this would be an excellent idea! You could even use it for filling in Southwestern Eggrolls, or add meat and use this as a dip with chips.
My only disclaimer is that it is spicy (just in case the word, chipotle, didn’t tip you off). If you love Mexican or spicy food, you’ll love the sauce. But if not, then you will want to try to some of the other varieties.
