Happy June! I’m excited today to bring you the latest Simply Earth Essential Oil Recipe Box! The theme for this month’s box is Oily Aid! We’re talking about first aid and medicinal uses for your essential oils. Let’s get started!

Let’s go over the items included in this month’s box: Most of the boxes come with 3 popular oils + an oil blend, but for this month we got 2 oil blends and 2 regular oils.
4 Oils:
- Lavender
- Bumps & Boo-boos (with Helchrysum, Lavender, Tea Tree, and Lemon)
- Timber (with Cypress, Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Peru Balsam, & Mandarin)
- Cardamom (comes in 5ml bottle, because it is a more expensive oil)
Other Materials
- Aloe Vera
- Dried Calendula Flowers (marigolds)
Plus, colorful sticker labels and recipe cards!
And the recipes included with this box are for:
- Sleek & Smooth Shaving Butter
- Skin Healing Gel
- Calendula Solar Infused Oil
- Burn Salve
- Digest Help Roll On
- No Stress Blend
My Thoughts:
This is another great box! I’m always a fan of the more practical uses for essential oils, and for me that means anything related to health and first aid!
Each recipe box always includes a roll-on recipe, and I’m always excited to see what those will be, as I use those recipes the most! In this case, I’m excited about the Digest Help Roll On. I often have an upset stomach, but I’ve never used a roll-on for it, and that’s definitely something I’m looking forward to trying.
I’m also excited about this month’s diffuser blend. I could definitely use something called, “No Stress.”
Of the other recipes, I’m really excited about the Burn Salve. This is something that can be used for a burn you may get around the house, but it can also be used for sunburn. As someone with fair skin, I’ve used a lot of home remedies for sunburn, and I’ll be happy to try this!
The Skin Healing Gel and Calendula Solar Infused Oil are also very interesting and useful, as they help heal wounds. (The “Calendula” recipe can also go on insect bites, another use that would come in handy for me.)
And finally we have the Sleek & Smooth Shaving Butter. This is an aftershave that it says will help moisturize skin, prevent acne and prevent ingrown hairs. This sounds great!
All in all, this is yet another box that truly has something for everyone! Because this is a very practical box that involves home remedies and healing, I could see myself using all of these recipes. And as always, I’m very happy with this month’s box!
