I just love hot chocolate in winter! Usually I go for a little milk and the powdered mix. (It’s simple. It’s good!) But here lately I’ve been wanting to experiment with a little Nutella. With just two ingredients (milk and Nutella) you can make a perfectly delicious cup of Nutella Hot Chocolate:
Or for something a little more sweet and fun, we just add a little whipped cream and sugar sprinkles!
But since I wanted to make a nice presentation for you guys, I decided this hot chocolate needed a little something extra. Enter the chocolate wafers and Valentine Peeps. The folks at the Peeps company recently sent me an assortment of their Valentine products:
I’ve been trying some of these out and they are delicious! For the hot chocolate, I made a little skewer of Vanilla Creme Marshmallow Peeps and Strawberry Creme Marshmallow Peep! They were a great treat to go with the hot chocolate. Check out the recipe!

I don’t think I can explain how much I love Nutella! Oh, My, Yum! This looks delish. I love the way you photographed it too. I’m stopping by from SITS & I hope you have a great Saturday!
This looks very yummy, but it’s really hard to read. There’s a pop up add that I can’t X out of that takes up half the screen, no matter how many times I’ve hit X. It’s just making it difficult and I can’t view whole pictures at a time. But it really does look delicious!
Well that looks absolutely delicious! I know what I will be having tonight!!
You had me at nutella!! This look so yummy and is such a treat on this very long cold and snowy winter.
sounds delicious Jerri! thanks for linking up. I featured your post in my wrap up http://tidymom.net/2014/lovable-valentine-recipes/
