As a kid I always enjoyed getting new movies for Christmas. Just in time for the holidays, Disney-Pixar’s Brave is coming out on DVD and Blu-ray on November 13. A breathtaking adventure that has entertained audiences of all ages, the stunning Blu-ray release of Brave includes hours of all new bonus material, extraordinary behind the scenes features, extended and deleted scenes, a mysterious and exciting, new short film, ‘The Legend of Mor’du,” and much more.
“Set in the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland, Disney Pixar’s Brave follows the heroic journey of Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald), a skilled archer and headstrong daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson). Determined to change her fate, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the unruly and uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane), unleashing chaos in the kingdom. When she turns to an eccentric Witch (voice of Julie Walters), she is granted an ill-fated wish and the ensuing peril forces Merida to harness all of her resources including her mischievous triplet brothers to undo a beastly curse and discover the meaning of true bravery.”
I’m excited to watch this movie! I love Disney and Pixar movies, and I love adventure tales that are set in other times and places. And although I love the traditional tales of princesses who are saved by their prince, occasionally I like something a little different. And I think Brave will appeal to all the little girls (and grown up girls) out there who love a little adventures.

Hi Jerri! I am a new email subscriber and follower. I like the “sweet” girly look of your blog. oh and a love of our cats is something we have in common! I often blog about mine 🙂 I would love to win this giveaway. I haven’t seen the movie yet, but it looks like it would be a good one! Thank you for having this giveaway.
Oh I was just noticing your buttons on the side for animal cruelty and what not. I wish I would have contacted you during October when I was doing my National Feral Cat Day project for preventing death and cruelty to homeless cats! It’s a project I work at daily (volunteering to help a cat colony. Another great thing I like about your site 🙂
